Not to speak for him but I remember him saying a local dealer had some coming in so he bought it or put a down payment on it before it got to the dealer. But basically bought it off the lot.

I know right. I was hoping may or June but it looks like even later. You'd think with it being a launch edition you'd get it in 8-12 weeks at the most.

Yeah i was thinking about something like this bit.ly/2W1WKpS it keys to the factory key so you don't have to have an extra key. Although i was thinking perhaps it had an electronically locking fuel door that locked with the vehicle, that would be cool but more than likely it is just a push door.

Does the fuel door lock? Or is it just a door anyone can open?

Yes I agree with the launch title although it will likely be the first orders made. Although it is important to keep in mind a lot of this is still speculation, who knows when we will actually get these. As far as the price I think my build was 500$ more expensive over the launch edition.

In my opinion, I don't think so. They will be here reasonably soon and what were they to do, just shut down the factory until the launch editions were ordered? As far as pricing, I was going to buy a fully loaded Rubi anyways and my build was actually more expensive than the launch edition, so...
