I named mine “mojo” and theme wise is Mojave+ as I kept that stock look,, 37s on stock wheels, 2” AEV lift, steel bumper w/ Warn winch, and Bak Revolver bed cover.
I went with skinny 37x11.50 on my JTM w/ stock 4.10 gear. It’s still peppy and I still see 8th gear. But I do feel the moment I go w/ 37x12.50, I will have to regear for sure to 4.56 or 4.88.
Still here 2020 Gator Mojave, picked up in July 2020 fresh off the truck. Still going strong at 35k. I kept it relatively stock with very few mods like steel bumper, winch, 2” AEV lift, and 37” on stock wheels…
I too got the skinny 37” Recon Grappler w/ 13k miles and still quiet from the get-go. You can notice a low level hum especially after criss-cross rotation but it goes away after 50 miles.
I eventually did added spacers just to give it a wider stance. But during the time without spacers, there’s no rubbing at all with typical desert wheeling and mild flexing.
I added 2” AEV spacer lift and 1.5” wheel spacers a month later because I already have it on hand. But during the time without the lift, (just fyi this is) the 37x11.50R17 did not rub at all on stock suspension. I‘ve taken it to Joshua tree, Big bear, and power line roads doing Mojave stuff, no...
