most OEM lights don't have as clear of a "cutoff" as aftermarket lights. I've had my fair share of aftermarket lights and aside from a true HID retrofit in my old Duramax the oracles are the cleanest cutoff I've seen out of a box.

ALL JKs were sold with side markers? That big round one on the front fender flares that was a pain in the a.. to remove. About the same spot that the JT and JL side markers are located. As long as you put a DOT amber side marker light on the side that is also reflective then you will be okay...
