  1. Car and Driver has posted a 10,000 mile update to their long term Gladiator review. Pretty negative

    1. The Mojave is terribly slow in 5th & 6th gears; however, if you drive the truck like a 4 speed, acceleration isn't an issue! I average 17-18 mpg and could easily increase that number if I paid more attention to my driving habits. 2. I've previously owned 10 manual shift cars and have over 21...
  2. MOPAR trailer brake controller

For a nice factory look if you do decide to relocate the 12v outlet I would use a step drill bit.
  3. Any reason to avoid Manual Transmission?

Purchased mine 3 weeks ago, the software had been re-flashed as well. The build date on my Mojave is October 2020.
  4. Happy with Premium Soft Top?

Love it! This is coming from a guy who was anti-soft top until I purchased one 3 weeks ago!
  5. Jeep sucks.... I have no idea how some of you have owned so many

For what it's worth, I've taken my wife's 2018 JL Rubicon in to have the Head Unit replaced (damaged during factory install), seat handle/wire replaced, & hinge paint perforation (2 different times). Each time Jeep provided us with rentals, and did not dispute the Warranty Claims whatsoever...

Same issue here, 40 customers currently in front of me! I called my local Rhino liner and their currently experiencing product shortages.
  7. Shifts felt through clutch pedal

Morning All, I recently purchased a 6 Speed Manual Mojave and noticed I can feel gear changes through the clutch pedal. The gear changes are smooth and the clutch grab is fantastic; however, when I shift gears (up or down) I swear I can feel mechanism's moving within the transmission while the...
  8. Broke my first thing....

Wife’s JL Rubicon’s broke as well... Jeep covered the repair under Warranty, no questions asked.
  9. Willys or Mojave?

$41K financed through Chrysler Capital. I was also able to negotiate my wife’s fully loaded 2018 2 Door Wrangler Rubicon for $40K.
  10. Willys or Mojave?

No extras, at least none that I'm aware of lol.
  11. Willys or Mojave?

I searched the web for days, if not weeks! Eventually I found a new 2021 Gladiator Mojave (6 speed manual) for $41K. Needless to say I purchased it that day!
  12. No Trailer Brake Control kit for Manual JT’s

I think I’m going to try installing the factory Mopar brake controller, I’ve located the gray wiring connector under the steering column panel. I’ll be sure to update everyone if it’s a successful install or a fruitless endeavor! Thanks All
  13. No Trailer Brake Control kit for Manual JT’s

Yea, those aftermarket Mopar wiring harnesses were a joke to install, I installed one on my old Sport and my wife’s Rubicon. My Gladiator did come equipped with the factory installed tow package, I’m going to look for the 4 pin connector above the diagnostic port tomorrow and report back. Thanks...

I’ll check this out, I’m certainly in need of a brake controller for my tandem axle trailer. Thanks
  15. No Trailer Brake Control kit for Manual JT’s

I’m somewhat saddened to see such little support for manual transmissions, perhaps it’s a sign of times?! Thanks for supplying me with the link.
  16. No Trailer Brake Control kit for Manual JT’s

Hi, I was recently informed by two Jeep dealers that the Mopar Brake Controller kit is not compatible with Gladiators equipped with manual transmission?! Does anyone know is FCA plans to release a version of this kit that’s compatible with 6 speed manual? Thanks
