Trip to Moab with friends that have become like Family! My first time out there and hopefully not the last!
Here’s more pics and footage
I’ll try to edit down some other clips so they will fit.
I should have labeled the pictures where or which trail they were from. To make it a...
Here’s a view from back away the Body Snatcher is to the left of the picture, not a hard obstacle but if you slip over you will get some body damage.
Just finished regearing to 5.13 from 3.73 on 37” Micky Thompson. It ran fine with 3.73 would hit 7th on flat ground at 75 or 80mph. Now 8th at 45 if I’m not on it or wherever I want to run, running 2500 rpm at 75mph. If you don’t do a locker it’s more feasible. You’ll be fine with your combo...
What part of Texas are you in?? I’m south of San Antonio but run with some guys from central Texas Brady area.
I did take it out last night after I got the oil in and put back together (not programmed until today when I get off) did a no no and got up to 70 hit 7th turned around and slow cruised...
We just finished my JT on 37” from 3:73 to 5:13, while we were putting it back together a guy came buy that built race cars for himself, his son and grandson, lots of mechanical experience. We were discussing break in on the gears and he over heard me, I asked how they did it in the race cars...
Have a buddy with a 2022 Overland, 37x13.50 black rhino wheels 17x9.5 runs great as is but it’s currently in the shop getting 4:56 gears. Didn’t need it but it’s going to pull a Small Overland trailer. He owns heavy equipment and has a thing about lugging a diesel. I have a gasser and like it...
I used a def container for water for our little farm tractor and left it in the cardboard box with the lid on and the damn funnel in it too, my F250 was low low and not thinking I saw the box in the shop and filled her up. A few miles later the little wet fart light came on and said it was going...
Mine will too with a $500 deductible, for that I might as well pay for it. I called another glass company and was quoted $475.00 for OEM glass and $250.00 for aftermarket. I guess the big question is are there different windshields for different models? I know there may be a difference in one...
I agree, about the cheap glass, the buddies shop he used was a mom and pop that did $199.00 there was no insurance involved. The shop that told me $480.00 and $850.00 has done them for me before, on a Tj and a JK, they are an individually owned shop. He said the difference in cost is because of...
As we all know Jeep’s are know for windshield cracks, called to have mine replaced and the guy says $480.00 for aftermarket and $850.00 for OEM, so set it up told him aftermarket was fine if they break that often. Buddy has a JT as well just had his glass replaced cost $199.00 aftermarket. I...
If you don’t know what gears are in it you can always have the shop Jack it up and spin the tire and count driveshaft rotations to tire rotation if it’s open diff spin tire twice and count driveshaft rotations, I think that’s what it is.
I would go with 5:13 as well, the sooner the better. My buddy has 5:13 in his and is going to 5:38 and 40’s. His Jeep runs and drives great with the 5:13.
