That's right. I forgot you had Infinitys in the front. Similar question then, what do you see as far as sound difference between the Infinitys and JL's?

Since you have both the JL audio and the Kenwoods, how much different do they sound, because I now have a second pair of the Kenwoods I'm considering for the SB if I can't make the JL's fit to my satisfaction.

So you think, for the dash speakers, no crossovers and no bass blockers? SB speakers may be different, but I'm not doing those yet.

Thanks RSK and midironman for the additional information! I am going out now to install the KFC-X3C's in the dash. I'll measure the 3 1/2" speaker openings in the soundbar as well. I really think the hole is too small for JL's, but I'll measure to make sure before I actually send those back.

Well, the JL Audio speakers DO NOT actually fit in the soundbar. It's not the mounting tabs that are the problem, but rather the diameter of the speaker frame itself - see below. The dimension shown is too large to fit down into the hole of the soundbar. Maybe my soundbar is slightly...

I've looked and I cannot find a car (truck) cover to fit the Gladiator. I even checked with the parts department at Dodge. There is a partial cover for the Gladiator, but no full cover that I can find. I really don't want a generic truck cover unless it's a pretty tailored fit. Does anyone...

I pulled the hood switch last night and tested things today. I do get the error light after running the truck up to speed, but my remote start still works just fine, so for me the hood switch trick works great!

Good to know - thanks! Which ones came with the crossovers? Also, did you use bass blockers on JL’s in the SB? Many reviews on Crutchfields recommend them so I ordered a pair the other night just in case I need them, I should have them on Monday.
