Since the notorious steering fix on my 2020 Max Tow sport my Truck handles like a dream. Towed a camper 1020 miles back home and can’t wait to get out again
I’ve got a max tow sport and 3000 lb Nucamp tab400 I bought from Millers Trailer Sales in PA. Towed it back to Mississippi and got 12mpg in the mountains and 14mpg on the interstate. Pulled awesome. I stayed between 60 and 65 with a few 70-75 passing the slow folk.
I’ve got one from rugged ridge. Looks like carbon fiber and as though it’s from the factory. Only two screws to insert. I get compliments all the time.
Right on, I was specifically looking for Max Tow to pull my teardrop across the country and maybe play on the trails a while. Also, didn’t want to worry about me and Rendezvous getting stuck. I’m super glad it was gobi and all terrain tires. I’ll upgrade bigger tires when these wear out.

I towed this 3000lb teardrop from Perkasie Penn. think I spelled that right, to Mississippi right below Memphis Tn. I probably averaged 62mph and averaged 12mpg. This was going through the mountains, on the interstate I averaged 14mpg. Surprised the hell outta me, I was expecting 9 or 10mpg...
Just picked up my max tow from WOLFCHASE jeep in Memphis. They put new steering box in no questions asked. Just sign on the dotted line and leave. Like you said, drives like a whole different vehicle. I had just took a trip too Ohio before it was fixed, 12500 miles each way. By the time I got...
I agree, I towed a 26 foot trailer with a midsize Chevy truck for years and never had a problem. Truck had a six banger with 5 speed stick, I always pulled in fourth gear. The sway bars made all the difference and anyone that tried towing without them were asking for trouble.
