I have glass coverage so it doesn't cost me anything either way. I had it replace once with an aftermarket glass and still using it over teh OE one.

auto stop doesn't bother me. I fact it rarely shuts the engine off. You can learn how to drive it in a manner that never shuts it off. Plus i am not launching off form stop lights. It's not going to kill your starter either. My Tacoma is 20 years old and has stopped and started 2 fold...
