Lots of folks run the diesel heaters. I don't want to deal with two sources of fuel. Anyone out there using the gas version?

The only ones I know so far are The Epic Family Road Trip, and some folks...
I know I know....it's not a Gladiator, but this is super cool!! Has anyone else seen this?
Looks like Jeep and AEV has paired up. The level II option has factory 37's, AEV's 2.5" lift, and a warn winch.
Originally saw this thanks to @Casey250 Pretty slick. Sure is a bummer they can't...
I know I know.... synthetic is boss right? Everyone has synthetic these days.
However, for a condition where a winch sees AAALLLLLLLL the nasty road grime all winter long because it is on the BACK of a vehicle - is synthetic still best? Or is cable better? Which has better corrosion and...
So ceramic coating is a thing PPF is a thing. But I also ran across this yesterday
https://www.mekmagnet.com/products/mek-magnet-armor-jt?variant=31933685137489
Would like some opinions on this idea. Its basically a removable sticker. Pretty expensive for what it is though it seems. But I...
I am interested in seeing what folks carry for tools and tool type items (spare parts maybe?) for their various trips.
I currently have a relatively small tool bag with various things in it - and up until now there has only been one torx bit I have needed to borrow from a neighbor since all my...
Ok so quick background. A few weeks ago I ordered the new mic
https://midlandusa.com/collections/micromobile-accessories/products/mxmc01-anc-microphone-for-mxt275-mxt575
It wouldnt turn on when plugged into my 275. After chatting with support I found out my 275 is the older USB version and...
So based on a few other threads I am posing a question regarding insurance.
I am interested in who you are with and what aftermarket items and/or interior removable items you specifically have covered.
Currently I have USAA and am considering shopping around. A few years ago I asked my...
So the JTR, max tow, and others have the 240 amp alternator.
I am curious if anyone has actually measured what amperage the alternator pushes under various loads. Like normal operating, vs a low battery, vs a winch pull, vs any other combination.
When I was swapping out the battery tray I...
So, I am frustrated to say that after the genesis install I now have a dreaded message of 'battery start/stop not available, service battery start/stop" message.
I have gone through multiple key cycles and some highway driving.
Verified wiring is in line with how it is 'supposed' to be -...
I know everyone is currently all over the Apex, but I want to entertain another question for everyone.
In searching for options for a rear winch, I was reminded by a forum member here that the open frame style of winches are smaller and would fit my bumper better. So I my first thought was...
So, I finally got around to checking a few things on the slide that I purchased with the fridge, and a few questions come to mind.
First - with how truck bed's are, what do those of you who have slides do to make sure the things are level? I used a bolt and washers and by measurement it seems...
I am looking for a few solutions for storage. The primary solution I am looking for from this particular thread revolves around building a rack for the canopy. Something like the picture below.
My question is, can I use extruded aluminum for this? Something like this...
I know there has been some mild talk on this topic so let me give some backstory.
2022 JTR gasser
I have, not yet installed, the Genesis system
I am considering purchasing their battery tie down that Is used on the diesel version and putting a second Group 31 aux battery (so 3 batteries in...
Sharing a post I have made on a few sites and FB. If you enjoy off road exploration like me then this is your chance to engage and help shape the future, at least for this forest!!
Please DO NOT turn this into a political argument. This is a topic that affects many of us and I simply want to...
Is anybody using fuses rated at less amperage than the factory for their aux switches?
Switches 1 &2 I believe are 40 amps
Switches 3 & 4 I think are 15 amps
All of my items on these aux switches are less than 10 amps draw. I was considering trying to find a 10a block fuse for switches 1 & 2...
I'm interested in seeing what others have done for mounting location / style of their switches for 'house' accessories. Pictured below is the passenger side of course. The portion forward of the ARB is spoken for. Also the portion rear of the ARB is spoken for.
I have a small panel...
So, sometime in the next couple weeks hopefully the Engle fridge will be put in the bed. I do have a canopy so it is not exposed.
Question is, does anyone here leave it in their rig all the time, even when not used? Winters here can see -25. Typical winter temps are 0 - just below freezing...
Who here has a kitchen setup that slides out from their bed.
Before I mount the fridge in the bed I am curious of some more options. I am short. So I dont really know if a slide system is the route I will go but would like to see some options anyway before making a drcision.
I am looking...
With the arrival of some parts I have been trying to think of ways to wire up accessory positive feeds and fuses. Originally ai was going to use a blue sea buss bar until realizing how large it was and would hamper the ability to mount other things.
So them I came to the ”ah-ha” moment...
