rvillano, that's it. when i got home tonight i went out to take some pics and the visor came out like that. prior it hadnt come out far enough to expose the wires, tonight it did. i pulled the mount off that holds the visor and saw the other half of the plug. poor, poor design. again, when i...

drivers side, when i swing the visor over to the side window the "plug" that it is supposed to pivot on is popping out. with the plug out, if i do swing the visor to shade the side window it wont plug back into it's housing. anyone else have this issue? i've got just over 6k on the jeep.

your question about nav working without cell coverage got me to thinking. i've never had a vehicle with carplay, this is my first. is there a nav app, i.e. gaia, maps.me, that is CarPlay compatible that would allow nav with no cell but still work via gps?
