Took delivery of my Rubi back in December, and only at 2900 miles. No problems with 1-2, but 4th likes to linger a bit long going uphill or coasting downhill on the little local mountain roads. Usually put it in manual to remedy that for a bit.
You just passed me on I-78 eastbound in Pennsylvania (around mile post 33). Watched you coming up in my mirror. Recognized the plate from this thread. Damn nice looking ride!
Gotta agree with this. The bed-to-cab height is my issue. The bed looks too shallow up against the cab, especially now that I have the soft top on. Doesn't look as goofy with the hard top. Looks best topless (don't they all). But this is such a minimal nitpick complaint for me. I love my truck...
I've been experiencing this SAME exact thing ever since I took delivery (December 23rd) . I have a stock Rubicon with only 2200 on the clock. It's not so bad on flat roads, but I experience it most on my little local mountain roads. 4th does seem to wind out a lot longer, sometimes going to...
Motor Mile Jeep (AKA Shelor) went to these horrible generic stock photos around 8 months ago. Before that, they posted ONLY 5 pictures of their inventory vehicles... in a garage bay with poor lighting. One of the biggest dealers in southwest Virginia, and they have one of the laziest websites...
Yeah, I would love to have a nice, sunny, warm day. I only changed tops in February because I'm going to Florida in s couple weeks, lol. I'd love to pull the top back soon, but Virginia is pulling temperatures like a quick-pick lottery drawing (47, 62, 24, 51...). On the days that it's warm...
I'm loving mine also. I had been looking at a new 4wd that my wife could take to work in the winter, since my 94 ZJ really isn't so comfortable for long drives (no headliner, lifted). I test drove, over the course of 2 years, a few Cherokees, different trims of Grand Cherokees, and this past...
I'm 5'9". I did the removal myself... and probably got extremely lucky, being this is my first experience with a jeep top (or any convertible, for that matter). I have a storage rack in the garage, and that's where I'm storing the top. Standing in the bed, and after everything was unbolted, I...
I believe instances such as this are called "Jeepurtunities." Driving over through stuff that others won't, or can't, simply because you have a jeep and it's fun!
I think about them constantly, simply because I SEE them constantly. I have a dedicated route, driving a truck between VA and Long Island, NY. I see all kinds of jeeps. All kinds of mods, non-highway rigs on trailers going on a weekend excursions, SRTs & TrackHawks. I see rolling aftermarket...
