2021 34,000miles, no mods, had the hpfp done about a month ago.

Not part of the recall may be related to radio update or things like that. Some say they had a flash others don’t. As for the mpgs it’s due to the replacement pump and they have to disconnect the battery so yes it’s relearning your driving habits.

Maybe nitrogen fill would help???

Done..took them just over 2hrs. Same buzzing sound as before, looked like they did a decent job of keeping it as clean as possible changing it. Didn’t get any other paperwork or stickers other than dealer paperwork.

Dropped off this morning for my replacement..see how this goes.

Yes it has flap that allow the mirrors to go thru or closed. Has adjustable straps to hold it down so if you have the mirrors on can just leave a little slack on that strap. It’s more expensive but I shopped around and reading reviews figure spend the extra for a better built rain cover.

Dremel with a dental burr or something like that..keep grinding until you can flip an edge up and maybe get a punch and hammer to tap it loose. Works on planes…

So it does suck for use 3.0 guys, but I also owned a 3.6 that had the tick noise and had a engine swap so seems to me they have issues on both ends. But love my 3.0 wouldn’t go back..

Hood locks are cheap and somewhat affective..slow them down some.
