I want one email inbound!
You could drill another hole and use a padlock.

Welcome to the club. I found a dead mouse under my back seat.
then a pile of food on my battery. I annihilated the brush in my parking area and razed any plant within 10 feet of parking area hope it helps. But I doubt it.
good anti mouse suggestions, but as to where the corpse could be good...
All summer long I do racing on my sailboat with 3-5 people. After a race it’s typical to load a bunch of people soaked in saltwater and beer into the truck. Then there is the days with wetsuits, wet dogs, and friends coming back from a day on the island/drive out on the beach.
I have tried that...
Figured Id post my experience after I have had these on my truck for the past couple of months. I have readjusted them several times to get them the way I like them. If anyone has perfected the bends to do faster speeds let me know.
Cons:
1. Top speed 65 MPH (or the tops of the doors start to...
Just did my last class for PADI openwater beginner Sunday. Looking forward to picking up my own gear. I have been snorkeling for bay scallops the past 10 years in New England OCT-DEC. Figured I would give scuba a shot and hopefully start diving for lobsters as well. As long as the damn white...
It depends what you are doing. If you are doing unmaintained dirt roads and mud puddles here and there you won’t have any issues. If you are going to add huge tires with stock axle gears and crawl over large rocks it’s going to be a pain with the sport transfer case. With the rubicons 4-1 rocks...
I have been planning on adding a flashlight in that position. Ordered this which will make wiring 2 options in easy. You could drop in any aftermarket/marine USB plug And still have room for a second light accessory To plug in...
Even after the bad reviews here I still ordered a pair hoping I get lucky. But that was a couple weeks ago and they haven’t shipped yet. Wondering if they are stuck due to Covid.
Not all the way in. You close your door on your truck so that’s it’s as far as it can go that you can still undo the bolt. It will still stick out an inch or so and it still lines up just fine.
Sadly long wheelbase trucks with big quarter panels is the problem. On my last truck I went through several taillights and caved in my quarter panel a couple times before I just build some outrageous tail light and sheet metal protection. Tight corners, trees and a large overhang/pivot point...
I restored a 1966 whaler. Sanded, ground out the crazing did barrier coat and redid/replaced the wooden furniture. Took a year working slow but I put the motor on this week. Splashed it today for the first time in a couple years. Hopefully it goes another 40-50 years before a rebuild again...
They look good, but the price point and lack of real photos scare me a bit. No info on mount (#s) and strength. Manufacture website doesn’t specify what material and tube thickness. Keep us posted if you get them and what happens when you drop the truck on a rock
I believe any light mount brackets will require the same type of access. I did use the Mopar Brackets. Grill and air dam are easy to remove.
However I did not enjoy drilling (4) holes in the frame and inserting rivnuts.
If I were to do it again I would buy a couples piece of metal flat stock...
It would Violate 49 CFR 393 and other fed/dot guidelines (4 forward lamps max, aimed, brightness ect.) assuming your state recognizes Federal transportation regulations (Which should be all states) it would then be illegal. If your state actively enforces it or not is another question. You might...
The plastic should hold up far better than painted metal. Even powdercoating wears out stepping on it for a couple years. Interested to see them painted.
