The main trail down to the river stays pretty dry year round. There is a trail off to the right of that under 528 named mud lake road. It can get real nasty ?.

It's right off of state road 50 between the beach and Orlando. I've wanted to do make it over and check out Citrus. Hopefully one of these days, its about 2 hours west of me.
