Has anyone found a mount that works on the Gladiator (or JL Wrangler) for a radar detector. SInce the mirror mounting changed so drastically from the JK to the JL, my old mount won't work.

I like the Conquerer. Am considering that. Also, the Opus trailer (rugged pop-up) has an A/C option that seems very reasonable. And I've seen one in person. Other option that I like is the Borderlands XT trailer from Utah. You can put a roof top tent (that also gets A/C and heat) on top.

I wonder if the Max Modular would be able to be connected to the Ace Upper Decker...

Reasonable course of action. I think most stuff aside from a tent or awning would be too high on those mounts. Have some ideas for fixing a Yakima system into the perimeter holes. have a neighbor who has a custom car shop and can fabricate some metal stuff if need be too.

I didn't order the RTT mounts - going to see if I can work a way to install regular cross bars that are multiuse (RTT, bikes, awning, etc...). I can always get the RTT mounts later on.

Yeah - I didn't know they could (or would) do that. But knowing that a dealer (at least this dealer) "can" is a good bargaining chip in the future when I make a car purchase. Not sure if I can unload my OEM plastic one, but whatever I can get for it offsets the already good purchase price...
