  1. What’s worn out faster than you expected?

My steering stabilizer seems to have worn out around 22K miles. I’m not surprised since I have run 37” KO2’s since the second day I had it. I replaced it with the Nexus 2.2 and so far haven’t had any steering wheel shimmy like I was starting to get. When I removed it I was able to move it in...
  2. What’s worn out faster than you expected?

I will hit 36K before I hit two years.
  3. What’s worn out faster than you expected?

Yeah I got pretty lucky with my experience.
  4. What’s worn out faster than you expected?

I didn't actually know they were blown, but they squeaked, creaked and rattled. That was enough for me to take it in.
  5. What’s worn out faster than you expected?

Yeah I wasn't too upset. The service tech said he could barely hear the rattle or squeak then he asked if I could show him. He said he would replace it. I said that I would hate to have one new shock and one with 18K miles. He said he doesn't own the company so he replaced both. Can't be upset...
  6. What’s worn out faster than you expected?

I did many 60+ mph down washboard trails. I would at I was the harshest on this Jeep compared to all my other built mall crawlers. I’m fully taking advantage of living in Southern Utah. I know I will need to replace the whole suspension and steering in next year. I drive 18K miles a year here...
  7. Does a winch/bumper affect a Mojave

Does anyone know if its just the front X springs that are different?
  8. What’s worn out faster than you expected?

My Mojave Fox shocks were blown at 15K. Replaced under warranty at 19K.
  9. Does a winch/bumper affect a Mojave

Did you only replace the front springs??
  10. Does a winch/bumper affect a Mojave

The Mojave suspension is great when no extra weight is added, but I've already had to replace the front shocks under warranty with 15K miles on them.
  11. Does a winch/bumper affect a Mojave

It will bottom out way more and it already bottomed out easily. The front end feels way heavier with just the MOPAR steel bumper. I will either add the X springs or rip out the suspension completely.
  12. Exchanging 2024 JTM springs for JTMX springs. What do I need besides springs?

I hate myself. It definitely bottoms out easier, but one thing it does is it makes it feel more planted and slightly less bouncy on some roads. I will probably source X springs, but it's not a priority.
  13. Exchanging 2024 JTM springs for JTMX springs. What do I need besides springs?

It does actually change the ride in the front. Not horribly, but noticeable.
  14. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Well I rotated the knob on the Nexus 2.2 stabilizer to firm and that setting is very soft so I guess I missed a step while installing. It's not a big deal. It feels the best on medium anyways and mine is facing the rear, but I know where the medium setting is. I doubt I will ever move it anyway.
  15. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Just drove the road that started the shimmy a couple weeks ago and no shimmy on soft.
  16. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Initial drive with new stabilizer is the soft setting is way firmer than stock. Either the stock one was shot or this one is just really firm. Not really in a bad way. More I just wasn’t expecting it to be so firm. My stock one I could pretty easily push in when I had it off. This one there...
  17. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Added a Teraflex Nexus 2.2 stabilizer mainly because I was getting a slight, occasional shimmy in the steering wheel. Not death wobble at all, but I started with the easiest to install solution. The stock stabilizer had 22K miles with 37" KO2's. I removed it and it was relatively easy to move...
  18. Show off your 2026 build progress! What’s new this year?

Only things I have bought for my Jeep are a MOPAR steel front bumper and leather rear seats from FBM. I did the seats mainly because they look better than seat covers that would have cost the same or more. It has cut down on the dog fur by 90%. The neoprene pulled the fur out of my dog. Today I...
