So Iāve heardā¦my rear shocks on my Mojave are squeaking at 20k miles but I think itās from the cold as they get better after 10 minutes or so of driving. Iām dreading having to replace them and hope they get to the 50k mark.
Next up theyāll be putting stock shocks instead of the Fox ones on the Mojave and theyāll prove they really changed specs without notice! Wouldnāt put it past these cheap bastards, honestly I feel like when they became Stellantis QA went to sh!t and caring came to an end.
In the end if youāre happy with it thatās all that matters! Now letās see some pics of that glorious Mojito! I love the pop of that color and itās one of the few Iād potentially go for coming from my Hydro Blue now.
Iām telling ya, itās like production ran out of the Mojave wheel and they just wanted to keep the line running and threw on Rubicon wheels. For Peteās sake at least get some Mojave orange stitching in there!
Right!? I really like the feel of the racing wheel and like I mentioned, even if Iām dropping 55k on a truck they set an expectation of what youāll get; when itās not all there itās a let down. Small stuff for sure but I feel like Jeep is going down a crappy path the last few years of letting...
Yep thatās the right steering wheel but then this is from a local dealer in PA, Mojito Mojave X with a Rubicon steering wheel. Itās like they ran out of some Mojave specific stuff so they put in what they canā¦
Iām half interested in a ā25 Mojave X only to get the full time 4wd option and noticed while looking at dealer pictures half of them donāt even have the perforated racing steering wheel I have in my ā23 Mojave. Thatās one of many things that sets it apart from a Rubicon and some of the Mojave...
Just put mine on yesterdayā¦the sun was out and in the 50ās in PA so it was time. 4th season using mine and Iāll probably take it off in November. 15 minutes between popping the freedom panels off and putting the flip top on once youāve installed it a couple times. @ShadowsPapa itās a great...
Theyāre still holding up strong a year and a half in. I never tried to remove the Carnivore plate since it kinda goes with the Jurassic and T-Rex theme I have on my Jeep.
My JTM and my wifeās ā23 JLUR 4xeā¦love the Punkn color and couldāve grabbed a JTR last fall in Punkn but wouldāve been too much orange in the driveway ?
I put these on last fall, have held up well so far through a PA winter with snow and salt. Would highly recommend, just under 40lbs a step.

Finally put on the hood scoop and fender Jurassic decals. I had ordered the T-Rex keyhole covers from @Threedom last fall and have a T-Rex chasing the Wrangler Easter egg on the front right of the windshield also. The dino rig is coming together!
Welcome back to the Jeep world @Janster! Work takes me to Lancaster County all the time so hope to see you aroundā¦I have a ā23 Mojave in Hydro Blue and love the color. Just put my flip top on last week for the season, so worth it for ease of use and enjoying more air time! āļø
Totally agree. My wife had a ā21 Trailhawk that was great but traded in for a ā23 Limited that unfortunately I told her just get what you wantā¦from the second she brought it home I thought fit and finish was garbage. It was her daily driver and I wasnāt there when she checked it out. Had it 6...
Stellantis said a few years ago they are subscription focused and my bet is theyāll somehow end up wanting you to pay a fee to get rid of ads just like streaming services do now down the road. Stellantis truly is ruining a lot of their brands, especially Jeep. The WK2 series Grand Cherokees...
I was used to a āduck and rollā in technique with the handles that wrapped around the bar before but couldnāt use them anymore since I put the sunrider flip top on for the season. These are a little closer to the roll bar so probably wonāt have to duck as much haha. @darksidedesign was great to...
Weāve been with USAA since 2007 and havenāt had many issuesā¦the few claims weāve had were always handled quickly and felt they were good to work with. $484 for my JTM and $786 for my wifeās 4xe Rubi on the 6 month premium. Hers is leased and damn they make you pay that much more going that route.
