The US requires an amber side marker and it just adds an additional color that stands out. These light up amber, but match the turn signals in the front fender. For me it's much cleaner.
Replaced the standard floor mats with WeatherTechs in the front. I left the rears for now.
Installed the clear corner markers and highly encourgae this. Really does a nice job tying the front together and eliminating the amber is a much cleaner look.
Also did the Mopar grab handles front and...
I would be curious to know how many early adopters of the JT are from the Jeep faithful. I understand a ton on this forum are, but that's a relatively small bubble compared to the 24k units sold. I haven't driven a Jeep since the 90s and loyalty was not my motivating factor.
I live in North...
Interesting. It's not on the Window Sticker that I can see. I feel like this is something the dealer added.... I hope that's the case and Jeep hasn't suddenly decided to add this.
This is bizarre looking. I checked the US and Canadian Jeep sites and this option is not listed.
Did you get photos of the window sticker? Or ask someone at the dealer about it?
Interesting. I find cars are much closer to me in the JT than they were in the Macan. And I end up in a ton of different rental vehicles and experience the same thing. Maybe an anomaly in my JT, but I feel like the JL I had as a rental was the same.
I will focus on this over the weekend and...
The LE has the same safety options you can order on any build.
There is not lane keep assist or lane departure warnings. There is blind spot monitoring and emergency braking. For braking, you can set it to warning only, so it alerts you but doesn't actually brake.
The systems work fine...
Why does it matter? It's their money. If it weren't for a diverse group of customers buying Wranglers then the Gladiator wouldn't exist. The sales volume generates profit and that generates R&D and new models.
Why can't people buy what they want, use it the way they prefer, and get enjoyment...
I'm running completely stock on my Rubicon and haven't gotten above 17 average. Maybe if I fueled up just off the interstate, jumped right back on, and let my girlfriend drive it would do 19-20. But with me driving, no way. I don't understand how people get those numbers. My foot is clearly too...
I'm not far from Jasper. It's around a 30 minute drive. I tend to avoid the area during Jeepfest but I would be down for a Gladiator specific meet. Mostly to put faces with names from the forum if anyone is interested.
With me in the Gladiator, pretty much anyone I know. My nephew, brother, and dad have all driven it.
Without me, my girlfriend takes it to work some days or on grocery runs. She has the second key and can take it whenever she wants. I travel for work, so it's there if she wants to change up...
I went with this Rydonair and have been very happy. I researched them and this one reviewed well, seemed like a great compromise in size/reception. I live in North Georgia and have had no issues during the times I actually use FM...
My neighbor rented a Sport or Sport S from Turo. Great way for the family to see if they wanted one by having it for the weekend.
I could never rent any of my vehicles. The points were already made. I take way too much care of my stuff to let someone I don't know drive it.
I was very excited about it. Then the camo'd pics started showing up. I kept some faith and some excitement that they would make good on the Defender name though. And then the pics surfaced of 'Ring testing and I pretty much lost all hope.
