Oil threads are always amusing...
As for Royal Purple, they make two types of Motor Oil. One is API certified and one is their HPS. The API certified oil is considered warranty compliant costs $35-$40 for a 5 quart bottle. The HPS oil costs roughly $60-$65 for 6 quarts. I found nothing notable...
Mine is Mopar as well. It does not lock. The two latches secure it. The last few inches flip down and are held by friction.
With the tailgate closed you can lift this latter section up and then pull the red tabs to release the cover.
It's fabric though. It wouldn't take much to cut through...
I'm in North Georgia. Been looking at getting the Decked system.
Do you have to do a full disassembly to remove it from the truck?
Overall condition of the unit?
I finally got around to a few things this past week. Full detail of the truck, for a start. Then installed the Mopar lift and a set of Method Race Wheels with KM3s.
Love the outcome. Potato quality photos. Need to get some decent pics.
You must be close to moving by now.
Alpharetta is a great city. I'm just north of there in Cumming.
I don't know about a Rubicon comparison, but there are definitely some extreme trails.
My nephew runs an XJ and is on trails every weekend. Let me get a resource for you and I'll circle back.
No power seats. It's a vehicle designed with the idea that water can, and will, enter the cabin. It is the same reason there aren't cooled seats.
I find the seats comfortable, easy to adjust, and more than adequate for the application. I've never gotten in and felt a loss at not having power.
I have ClearPlex on my GT4 and plan to have it installed on the Gladiator.
They suggest waxing it once a month and it will definitely get pitted and worn on a daily driven vehicle. You can expect 12-24 months out of it and then will need to be replaced. For me, it's worth it because I hate the...
Troncalli in Cumming. I called them, spoke to a Service Advisor, explained I was part of the recall. They looked up the VIN, ordered the part, and scheduled the service. They also offered a Rental, which I did not take.
I called prior to confirm the part came in. Dropped off at 08:00 and work...
I had my appointment last Friday. Dropped it off at 8am. Received the call at 9:45 that it was ready for pickup.
Actually had a very positive experience at this Jeep dealer and plan to use them again if anything else happens.
Unsure why you would assume I am butt hurt. I was referring to OP posting about the grill. They just joined and this is their only post on the Forum.
That grill is abysmal. I assumed that would be obvious. Apparently not.
When you order the fob you can either get it with a blank or laser cut. The difference was $10. I preferred to have the extra laser cut key so I have a spare and the $10 difference was negligible.
I managed to wash one of mine and it didn't survive. Local dealer ordered a replacement for me and it was $224.21 all-in. This was the fob, laser cut key, and programming. It took roughly 1 week to receive and 15 minutes for them to program.
