just did 4x4 service at the dealer, 2 differentials, transfer case was $485 total. yes, I can do it cheaper myself, but piece of mind for those situations
You can get 24K for your rig with 95K miles? jump on that deal, i got quoted a trade in value for my fully loaded 21 rubicon with 50k miles and they wanted to give me 27K
i would keep the truck if I swap the engine, why sell it.
Also, depends on timeframe as well, if it wont be until 2027. They need to retool the chassis, new engine mounts, etc, not sure how long that takes. Also, imagine dealer markups for the 1st 392 gladiators rolling off the line, 10K over...
Take your truck to AMW, drop in 40K and have a 6.4 505 hp beast no MDS, compared to 470 hp with crappy MDS sound. saves you more money in the long run and have a pickup truck and not a suv
for me i have over 20K in mods on my truck. i looked into getting a 392 wrangler and they wanted to just give me 29K trade in! if your looking for a stock truck from factory and you don't plan on modding it, then get the 392 gladiator when it comes out. I mod my vehicles, so if i were to wait...
nice looking truck! for me it's took big to drive and park. for others it's perfect. I like the size of the gladiator better. also I rather get a 505 hp engine from AMW with better transmission tune than the 470 version from jeep. I know you can tune the jeep 392 engine amd transmission, but...
TRX is too big and wide. i guess its a preference. A guy on you tube gets 9 mpg on his TRX! comparing a gladiator to the TRX is not apples to apples. i think a 6.4 in the gladiator is a perfect setup. aslo a used TRX? I bet most owners beat the shit out of that engine
now for those that think...
i think i rather do a AMW engine. if jeep adds a 392, it would be 470 hp and 470 tq with stupid MDS that sounds like shit in mds mode and has different internals to active MDS. probably wont see one in a few years, they need to reengineer the chassis to accept the 6.4 motor mount locations...
I have a clayton lift and so far it's been driving great. recently I have little side to side wobble in my steering wheel on bumps. the drag link on the passenger side seems to move and has a clink. Is this normal or does the ball joint need replacement? coups this be the source of the steering...
Yes happened to me in Florida, I had to cancel, but it was prorated....I didn't get my full refund back, so I lost money on that deal.
Grainger told me if i gave them an out of state address of a friend or relative they can keep the policy. Sounds like fraud to me and I'm sure if there was an...
stupid question, do you measure the castor angle with the truck loaded on all 4 wheels or in the air on a lift? would it make any difference when it's in the air and the springs are not compressed?
Used for 1000 miles only decided to go with larger lift and new shocks. Parts are in excellent condition.
