  1. My Fathom Blue Gladiator finally got delivered!!

    Congratulations! I love this color.
  2. X

I'll look into this. I was just about the purchase a OVS topper since they have 15% off
  3. X

I'd love one of these and willing to pay the $2k premium to save weight of 70lbs over other systems. But... How is it $2-3k for shipping to your door when it's so compact compared to other systems? Especially when you can buy a Westin or OVS shipped to you for $2400-3000 and it's not as...
  4. My Rear Cargo Slide DIY (Version 2.0)

Thx for all of that. Helps me out in my planning a lot as my "new to me" JTR came with a drawer system installed, so no way to test the overall bed length vs bike being mounted to it without a whole lot of work
  5. My Rear Cargo Slide DIY (Version 2.0)

What size bikes are fitting inside the bed with the slider? The one looks like a small. I've been wanting to get a topper to do the same thing, but with a Med. and Lrg full-sun enduro bikes, I'm afraid they won't fit. I need about 38-39" of bed to roof.
  6. Key Fob - Temporarily Not Working

Never had this happen with my '20 JTR, but my new to me '22 JTR it happened the week after I bought it. Works so-so in teens, single and below and it struggles hard!
  7. Maximizing Suspension travel w/2-2.5" lift

I searched a bit, but might not know enough lingo to make the search work for me. I'm just starting the planning phase for next years suspension upgrades. Build plan will be 37s on JTR, I ran this only old JTR w/o issue. However, this time around, I'd like to do a minimal lift kit. 2-2.5" max...
  8. Bed Topper / Cap; Hauling mountain bikes inside

Many Thx. This is exactly what I needed to better visualize the fitment. Numbers work, but seeing something similar always adds a layer confidence to move forward with a topper. Even the cheap ones can be a $2500 mistake.
  9. Lift Decison: Mopar vs Teraflex

As 40x40 said, only you have the vision for your truck. And a lot of money for some of us and a drop in the bucket for others. IMO, humbly I'd lean towards the spacer lift and save the money for nicer shocks that work for your intended use. Maybe an AEV spacer level/lift kit. They even have...
  10. Bed Topper / Cap; Hauling mountain bikes inside

When I build our van, our garage area needed to be approx (if memory serves correctly) just shy of 38" tall, taking into account the slide and fork mount (and that was the mount running on the horizontal plane.) Taking into account roof edge drop to tailgate window, I'm guessing it'll be...
  11. Bed Topper / Cap; Hauling mountain bikes inside

Ok, this is interesting. I also came across a topper that the angle lifted and wondered, why? Seeing that photo shows that the roof lifting give a bit better access to crawl around for packing. and securing stuff.
  12. Bed Topper / Cap; Hauling mountain bikes inside

My last JTR build, I went with a JCR mid-rack build and bike mounts on the outside. But since then, I've gotten spoiled with my wife's 4Runner and being able to travel with bikes inside the truck on long trips. On my new build, I'm considering a bed topper, but still unsure if 2 bikes fit...
  13. Going to 37s eventually, What steering upgrades are mandatory?

This depends on the 37s. I had Grabber ATXs mounted on Methods 17x8.5 and did not need any mods to my factory JTR to run them or stow the 37 in the spare well. Ran them for 30k w/o issue; mild off-roading, stuff like Broken Arrow, and stuff around East Phoenix area; some VA and WV forest...
  14. Another Stock Mojave on 37s (Manual)

I dunno about some stories as accounted; but my experience was beyond expectation for 37s on a stock rig. Here's a pic of doing 75 accelerating up an onramp and in 5th gear. I had to take the pick because I had the locked light come on and needed "proof" of the issue existing for the...
  15. Bicycle Side Mount, help.

100% Love'd mine and thinking about adding the same thing to the new Rubi. Ours did us well on a few x-country trips. We just loosened the stems to turn the handlebars and it helped with noise and mpgs.
  16. New Camper King (san diego) one piece fiberglass hard top

I love that someone is doing a 1-piece roof, but my idea of an ultimate roof would be ala' Land Rover; raised a few inches with windows!
  17. Anyone else running 37s no lift?

I can't remember exactly, I think they were like 36.5" or so. Thet were definitely build light. I think they were like 72-72lbs a piece. My whole wheel setup was under 110, like 107. No matter anynow I'm building a '22 JTR and General no longer makes the 37s in the ATX.
  18. Anyone else running 37s no lift?

I ran General Grabber ATx 37x12.5 on Method 701s on my '20 JTR. Put over 20k on them and no rubbing. Even offloading. Under max flex and disconnected swaybar, I think I rubbed the inner liner top maybe 1 or 2x. Hardest trail I did was Broken Arrow in Sedona, so not super gnarly, but it was my...
  19. 38's are the Goldilocks of tires (owner review)

Just found this post and now it's making me reconsider buying 37s... Great 411! Thx!
