LOL yeah it was after closing time and my salesman had an appointment somewhere else so he just followed me to the station and filled it up on the way home.
They're here a day early. Should work fine since they are just to help the short people get in and out. I really like them. Maybe when they are available for the JT I'll sell these and buy a new set. Maybe not.
I know they will be short of the fender. I already stated that they didn't go wheel to wheel. Steps are for getting in the doors. There's a big difference between "they don't work" and "they don't cover what I think they should".
You'd have to get with @steffen707 on that. I don't have the rails. Basically though they are clamps that fit under the lip of the bed. I'll get a couple of pics tomorrow.
Do you have any issues with those locking mats moving around putting stuff in or out? I like the idea but I'm not convinced they would stay connected the way I use my bed.
Well since I went from the factory 31" tires to 34.5" tires at the same time I figure I got 1.5" lift from tires and the Rubi springs gave me about .75"-1" lift. 2"-2.5" lift without buying a lift. It rides fine but I do notice just a tad bit of wander in the lane. Not sure if it's the higher...
I don't see why not. The body mounts go in the pinch seam holes and the step itself mounts to the brackets where ever they fall, they are adjustable. That's why I went with these instead of a solid mount step like the RC ones. You may be right, we'll see

I haven't gotten them yet. They'll be here Tuesday. I'll post pics of them...
LOL I bought iArmor aluminum step rails for a JL. They won't go wheel to wheel but they do go from the front door to the back of the rear door and that's all it needs to do.
