That’s why I was waiting for the red Hauk logo to come out (which it finally has). I have the matte black tailgate wrap (pics above) and I too was afraid the emblem wouldn’t “pop” enough if it was black on black. I plan to do something similar so it’s like you said. His emblem is my favorite so far!
That looks awesome! Care to PM me some closer head on and angled shots?
Which vinyl wraps did you use (name, model # etc). So, just so I understand after you wrapped the letters in the red you laid some of the black over top and then what, just used a razor to cut along all the edges so the...
I just wasn’t sure if the black would stand out enough against the black vinyl. What I’d really like to do is find the person that owns the Gladiator done by America’s Most Wanted 4x4. I love the red on black look of that tailgate emblem.
it looks a lot like the Hauk emblem but I think it’s a...
Got any more pics from different angles of the tailgate? I’ve been going back and forth on doing the black Hauk or waiting for their red version of the emblem.
Good to see a fellow FL’er on here!
I haven’t seen it mentioned on here yet but I swear I read the max towing we can expect it to be is 6k. That was due to technical limitations of cooling and air intake at the front. This is a summization based off the same engine being in the ram 1500 with 40lbs of torque higher. When the Jeep...
That would be super cool! Any idea how or where you could get that done?
I feel like I’ve seen one from jeep, I think they already havea topograph one for the hood. Maybe you could find it and trim to fit the JTR and then do the red outline.
That's a good point. I was worried about this very thing and called them to find out about it. The guy laughed and said contrary to popular belief that is not true. Unless you are under a heavy and uneven load you will not see anything close to significant enough.
If you did run the lines...
Stuck mine inside the fuel door for the same reason as you. Could bare to go drilling into the truck so I did it there. Convenient and inconspicuous. If I ever move it, it’s just a tiny hole in some black plastic that I can live with.
I have a steersmarts tie rod, drag link and adj. track bar along with the Synergy Bracket/Sector shaft brace and the Fox steering stabilizer. I took my truck in and told them what was wrong and they didn't even test drive it. They said they "might" charge me $50 since the synergy brace is on...
Go to Jerry Ulm here in Tampa off of 275 and Dale Mabry. They are awesome, and have no problem doing the TSB. They know there is a problem and they aren't fighting it. You'll have to wait a bit for the parts to come in though because they aren't allowed to order until 9/15.
Ok cool, wasn’t sure if Jeep pulled another fast one just like they did with my peanut butter brown, I mean “dark saddle brown” leather. Don’t get me wrong I love the color but it’s not a dark brown!
Jack??
I would agree with that actually. The braking for sure is a bit on the extreme side. I wouldn't say that means it doesn't work though.
In my 2016 Honda Accord Touring trim the brake and acceleration are a bit more subtle. Which is interesting b/c the Honda Sensing package is the Acura package...
