I think the problem is any load that slides around is likely to hit that area. The sides near the tail gate are easy as a use to access and in a lower probability to be hit area. But that is my guestimation. Not done it and not sure I would want to. Likely just run it back to the rear corner...
I changed mine at about 900 but as I know it isn't really that important. I am just paranoid. I did not see any metal in the filter or glitter in the pan so likely be ok. But do what makes you feel better. I assume it will be mostly highway miles which is better for wear.
Ok I would seriously consider going with this, buy 2 of them and then buy this resin. Down side is I am not sure that is enough resin BUT I think I can do 3 fills of my system with that bag of resin.
These are the nozzles I ordered as well. They are a misting nozzle which should help. Bear...
Link is at the bottom of the post. But given you need to replace the resin I would go a different route on my phone but later on the pc I can find what I would get if I did it again.
Set up a station on the wall and hooked up a loop with a di setup. The problem was the resin I it was not any good. Bought some more and replace it and now get 0 tds. Make sure you get a TDS meter. Have not used it yet, not had it that long. I also got a new pressure washer nozzle for low...
Yes, the benefit is not from higher octane but from the additives they add to the fuel later as it is sent to the brands. I am not saying this is gospel and works, but something to think about and got me thinking it might be worth the extra money. Safeway here has gas at 3.47 all the time...
I get where you are coming from, this guy is an oil geek. He seems to be very interested in the subject, and not everything he talks about even pertains to us. He has talked about break in oils and the difference, as well as racing oils. If you aren't interested, that is great and fine. Just...
Well I get this guy popping up here and there and he has some interesting vids on oil and wear. But this was new. He is talking about friction modifiers added to the fuel impacting wear.
Can Premium Fuel REDUCE Engine WEAR?
Going to have to research brands in my area and see what I should be...
Funny mentioning this, been replacing the brakes on my 08 JK for a while and never used loctite. Replaced them on my wife's Hyundai Tuscon and low and behold a bolt backed itself out. Bought some replacements from the auto parts store and they come with that red loctite already on them. So...
So we had a big trip and I set the pressure to 37 per the door panel. While driving I monitored it and found that rear tires seemed to increase a lot more than the front. Was running hot at 41 front and 43 rear. I assume this is normal, is this a problem? Should I lower the rear tires a bit?
