  1. Door check pushed in - how to get it out?

Thanks for that link! I had seen it in the past but after many searches I couldn't find it again. Girlfriend doesn't like the fact that the door won't stay open and wants those checks reattached before our next overlanding trip to Alaska in a couple weeks. Gotta keep the peace!
  2. Door check pushed in - how to get it out?

I disconnected the door check and pushed it into the door and replaced it with a longer strap, so the door would open wider to make it easier for my dog to get in and out. now that the dog is gone I would like to pull that door check out and reattach it. I have pulled as hard as I can and it...
  3. Seat Heaters Not Working - Fuses are OK

:headbang: :headbang: :headbang: There was only one fuse in the tap. I can't believe I wired this entire rig by myself and pull a dumb mistake like that. Thank you!! I originally used F52, but found out that when in ACC mode, the Redarc BCDC will go into charge mode and draw from the...
  4. Seat Heaters Not Working - Fuses are OK

I FIGURED IT OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel dumb now. I tapped F57 for a signal to the RedArc because I needed a fuse that is only powered when the engine is running. I unplugged the tap, and now the heaters work. I don't know why the tap causes them to be inoperable. That should have been the...
  5. Seat Heaters Not Working - Fuses are OK

Got a new OBDII reader that reads that module. I get code U120E-00, which is "lost communication with Comfort Seat and Wheel Module". I'll take @Hootbro advice and not try to diagnose electrical stuff any further. Time for it to go to the dealer. I appreciate everyone's feedback.
  6. Seat Heaters Not Working - Fuses are OK

Thanks for the feedback. This is getting out of my league. Have no idea what a comm bus or center stack is. No need to explain, tho. I'll check power and ground tomorrow. I have my RedArc BCDC tapped to the driver side fuse and the RedArc works fine, so I'm leaning on the power being fine...
  7. Seat Heaters Not Working - Fuses are OK

Recap: Both seat heaters and steering wheel heater do not work. Button lights don't work at all. Backlights on the buttons do work. Both fuses are okay. Tested the Comfort Seat Steering Wheel Module in my '21 JL and it works fine. Checked the connections under each seat. Anyone have any ideas...
  8. Seat Heaters Not Working - Fuses are OK

I plugged the module into my '21 JL and the heaters worked. So, it's not the module. There are no trouble codes, checked with a OBDLink LX.
  9. Seat Heaters Not Working - Fuses are OK

Steering wheel heater does not work. Button lights for all three don't light up at all, but the backlight works. Heaters don't work from UConnect either.
  10. Seat Heaters Not Working - Fuses are OK

There are no trouble codes at all. The backlighting works on the buttons, so it's not the button assembly. Any other ideas? I'm thinking it needs a new control module.
  11. Seat Heaters Not Working - Fuses are OK

Disconnected for 30 minutes. That didn't work.
  12. Seat Heaters Not Working - Fuses are OK

Yes, unplugged and replugged all 4 connectors.
  13. Seat Heaters Not Working - Fuses are OK

Neither seat heater works, the buttons do not light up, and the fuses are okay. I know there is a Comfort Seat Steering Wheel Module under the steering wheel. All wires are firmly seated. Is there a way to test this module? I also read something about a loose clock spring under the air bag...
  14. Battery setup for overlanding?'s

Here are pix of my battery setup. I bolted plywood to the molle panel to have something to attach the switches, breakers, and controller. The KickAss Slim 120 battery tucks in behind the wheel well so you don't lose any bed space. I started with a Renogy unit and after two of them failed and...
  15. EOC Stage 1 Tune Options - Your experience?

Why not get a PCM from your dealer and have them program it? I did that, no problem. A little more cost, but there's no red light.
  16. EOC Stage 1 Tune Options - Your experience?

I'm interested in what they say, if they ever answer. Please post their reply.
  17. EOC Stage 1 Tune Options - Your experience?

Yes I have the trans tune. The surge comes from the PCM.
  18. EOC Stage 1 Tune Options - Your experience?

I debated whether to contact them about this for the 4 months we were overlanding out West. I was worried that if I did complain about it and sent the unit back for reprogramming, they would take it personally and make it horribly unresponsive. I've not had a "good customer service" experience...
  19. Any AT Tires that don't get LOUD as they wear down?

A 2nd on the MT Baja Boss! Like them much better than the Faulken MTs and after 15k miles, no appreciable noise increase, in fact, they're not noisy at all.
