I ordered an E-Track system that Iām going to bolt to the 2āx12ā. System rails, and anchors clips came to $72. 2āx12ā will run me about $15. $10 for can of bed spray and I have a system for tie downs for less than $100.
Cool that you were up here! I just picked up my Gladiator today! Iām in...
Ok. Google is a great thing! A PDI and sticker/plastic removal and thorough washing seems it takes a few hours, if your service department isnāt backed up- and ours is pretty busy most of the time.
Oh, and it wasnāt for registration and all that bs. The registration is already done. He said, "the guys need to get it prepared from the factory" - or something close to that.
Hi.
I took a look at this thread because Iām picking up my Gladiator today! Iām wondering - what does the dealership do? They wouldnāt let me come in and pick it up when it came off the truck. They told me the service guys had to get it ready. Ok. How?
Thanks.
I would hope not! I was able to order the 2020 at the end of June. Itās a Rubicon with manual tranny. Itās supposed to be here by the end of the week! From what Iāve been reading, it was a good thing I didnāt want to wait for the 2021 diesel. It looks like theyāre going to have even less tow...
Did you use the Badlands winch plate with that? I have the stock steel bumper and am wondering how much a difference the winch plate can make. $49 for the Badlands winch mount. $150+ for everything else Iāve seen.
Are you telling me they havenāt fixed this issue yet? They had recalls out for that issue for months now. They built me one that still has the same issue?
Well...sometimes miracles DO happen. I started out out by asking my wife, "Remember how we talked about downsizing the camper...?" She actually took the news well.
We wonāt be doing any serious road travel with a camper for another couple of years when I retire, so in the meantime we can either...
I just read in the manual that Rubicon with manual transmission max tow capacity is 4500 pounds. Is this true? And why is the manual the first place I saw this? When building it at Jeep.com it states that the max tow for Rubicon is 7000 lbs. It doesnāt state anywhere in the builder that it would...
It looks like the OP already made up his mind, but hereās my $.02:
My first serious off road was in a FrankenJeep CJ7 with a Ford T18 granny tranny (boy has the meaning of THAT phrase changed in the past decade or two). It was pretty difficult to stall out in Granny Gear. FrankenJeep could...
Cool. I can collect then. And by then I should have some trails to show you if youāre up for it! Although, as of today weād have to go to a place where we can order food as well as drinks... Cuomo is shutting down bars that donāt serve food...
No. Iām thinking a 2ā x 12ā board divider to mount things to, like a molle panel, but made of wood. Iām also wondering if E track end sockets would help in some way. I canāt wait until my Gladiator comes in next week so I can do some actual experimenting.
