One of the plugs on the passenger side isn’t seated properly. Double check both the front and rear passenger side plugs. Carefully pull them back apart and look for bent or misshapen pins. Generally a problem occurs the last place we touched.
Agreed. No installation instructions included with mine as well. Granted it's just a 2 bolt install, but they should include something about priming the stabilizer to equalize it.
As an update after a couple days of driving with the stabilizer, it really isn't as firm as I would have liked. Around town its perfect but I drive about 60 miles a day on the interstate and it still has a tendency to wander a bit in lane.
I'm not so unhappy that I would want to take it off...
Coming from a Sport I would recommend the rubicon suspension upgrades along with the 1.5" teraflex level. You will clear 35s all day long and it'll ride like butter.
I have a rubicon with the 2.5" RC level with 3/4" daystar spacers in the rear and it rides great also. Probably slightly more...
Well I take back my previous post.... after doing some reading on several other threads, I decided to reinstall the FOX 2.0 IFP stabilizer and "prime" the stabilizer. This was accomplished by moving the steering wheel right to left full lock to full lock 5 times in a row, taking about 1 second...
After trying to adjust my steering wheel, checking the alignment and retorquing my track bar the solution was I put the stock steering stabilizer back on and no more pulling.
Like the title says, I just installed the Fox Performance 2.0 IFP steering stabilizer, part number 985-24-173, and now the truck is pulling to the right. I have to clock the steering wheel to 10/11 o’clock to go straight down the road.
It was not doing this prior to install. Any thoughts?
No sir. $129 dollar Rough Country 2.5" level kit. I'm not a hardcore wheeler and this rides great on the street. Adding 3/4" spacers to rear today as it sits slightly nose high to my eyes.
What would you recommend? I was considering purchasing an adjustable track bar.
Definitely considering going to 17s and 35s currently and/or regearing. The 37s are killing my MPG in the TN hills.
Installed the RC 2.5 level with shock extensions tonight and ride is markedly improved. Truck sits a little nose high but I’ve ordered some 3/4” spacers for the rear that I think will correct that.
I have a Vector Offroad E-Dock currently installed in my Gladiator. I don't have any phone or Go Pro holders for it, just the dock itself. Appears to be in perfect condition. If anybody is interested I would be willing to sell it for a decently cheap price. They retail for $169 according to...
