Yes. And I wouldn't wait for 30k miles for the filters. It is good insurance to change the engine air filter at least every 15k miles depending on where you live. In dusty Vegas, I change at 10k miles even for daily driving. The filter is just 30 bucks, give or take and takes less than 5 minutes...
If you are weight conscious - soft cover.
Otherwise hard is more secure and durable.
I got a Bestop EZ-Roll twill that matches my Bestop Sunrider twill. The installation was very easy, just took my sweet time on alignment. It also has a bolt that can be loosened or tightened to adjust the top's...
How's your JT clutch holding up now after the incident? How many miles on the odometer?
The reason I am asking is to determine the durability of the stock clutch. Whether I should wait for the Centerforce Clutch till the stock one shows signs of slippage or to do it now.
Had the issue only once, it was a windy day and another car was parked a little way on the pump front of me. So my JT's fuel door was a little away from the hose so the hose was placed at an angle. But the next few times I filled after that, no issues.
I sent an email to Pedal Commander support team this morning. I didn't see a phone call option on their "Contact Us" page. I will share as soon as they respond.
BTW, maybe I am old fashioned, but I don't feel comfortable using a product of a company that does not offer a phone option for...
2 more questions regarding the Pedal Commander:
1. I have been noticing that once in a while, my setting changes after the JT is powered off. Initially I started with City 2, but the next day I noticed that the setting changed to City 1. Then when I reset to City 3, a day later, the setting...
Thanks. I also started in City +2 and it seems like a different vehicle. Very satisfied with it.
I also mounted on the side wall so I am forced to make any change only when it is stationary and with door open for me to reach the buttons.
What settings are you guys using for Pedal Commander?
Just installed it on my Mohave M/T but haven't started the vehicle yet.
Just want to get an idea on what would be the optimum setting for city and highway daily driving.
I see two options on CF website for JT. Which one would be better for daily driving?
I have good relationship with my Jeep dealership parts & service here, so I am thinking of getting it done through the dealership itself.
When I had my EcoDiesel and went for my first oil change, I saw on the paperwork that they filled it with Shell Rotella. Immediately went to the service manager with whom I have good rapport, he checked, apologized, asked for my keys, put in a new oil filter again and filled with the correct oil...
The only issue I have with my Mohave MT is taking off from stand still - in all my previous manual transmission non Jeep trucks and cars, I could 100% release the clutch pedal in and around 1000 rpm without stalling in first gear. But on this, due to fear of stalling, 50% of the time I hit about...
