The inflation package included with the rear only kit is for the V6 engine which mounts on driver's side of the rear driveshaft. Unfortunately, on a diesel it's where the emissions components/def tank are mounted.

Great question! I've noticed that some members have full size truck they tow with so these are helper air bag kits for those types of trucks. We do have a Rear Only air spring conversion kit for the JT gas engine jeeps though which can achieve a similar result.

Portability is a great point in this conversation as well. Those types of compressors definitely come in handy when multiple vehicles are involved you can't get yours close enough to assist or when it comes to swapping between vehicles.
