Number three for me! On the way to work yesterday I had small rock hit the windshield. Just a little 'tink'. Got in it to go home and it was cracked from the top to about 4 inches from the bottom. The windshield replacement policy I purchased with the vehicle has more than paid for itself.
I am not afraid of it being too complicated. I just don't want any of it. The OEM stereo is garbage and the new one can't be replaced. I really don't want the vents lower. It isn't about complicated, it's about the way I use a vehicle. When I replace our current Impala it will be with something...
I will NOT be buying a new Gladiator BECAUSE of the screen. I know I am in the minority but I have no use for giant screens. I keep my stuff a long time. The old 8.4 can be replaced with an aftermarket something (and no I don't mean one of the ones that is bigger) I mean a 300.00 or less Kenwood...
I do use the Offroad pages for the gauges a lot, but that screen is also the radio/xm/Apple Car Play/etc/etc. A set of gauges around the speedo and tach would be really nice. I don't care if they are analog or digital.
I have had mine do it several times. Mostly at low speeds, parking lot or off road. Usually when I am trying to change direction, i.e. I have backed up out of a space and now trying to go forward. Happens the opposite also, pulled in and then trying to back up and turn. It did once going down...
It's a Jeep thing! Turn up the radio! ;)
The suggestions above are the best way to start.
Make sure the disconnects are have been greased. The move around a lot more than you would think.
When I got my 2022 I couldn't believe how noisy the top end was. It sounded like an old diesel. Switched to 5-30 and it is MUCH better. Your mileage may very.
I suggest doing Potash-Shafer-Long Canyon instead of the other way around. The views down Long Canyon are amazing.
7-Mile is also a great trail because you can pick how hard you want it to be and the views are great. You can change how you exit as well. There are a bunch of different trails that...
Replaced the OEM 3.5" inch speakers in the dash with an ancient set of Boston CX3s I have been hoarding. WOW what a difference! The factory speakers really are garbage.
I have Boston 6.5s for the knee panel and the sound bar, can't wait to get those in.
