Yep, holds my Springfield Armory Hellcat Pro with an optic and fully loaded with 17 rounds just fine.
My knee rests against it a lot, I worried about that at first, but not any more.

I have this set up as well for my 365XL. It’s very secure and a very quick draw if necessary. Highly recommend.

I like that mounting position vs something closer to the middle. My main concern was running into something and my knee whacking the thing. Kudos on the Hellcat btw, saw the grip and knew it immediately.

The admin warning itself is offensive. So sick of woke nannies and i call for this admin's removal.

There are some other pistol storage threads
to which I made an outstanding recommendation.

https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/...fe-lockbox-recommendations.70140/post-1162325

https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/...te-holster-for-hand-gungun.77561/post-1267198

To summarize,
first, get an inexpensive pistol
small enough to fit in the upper compartment of the center console
where it is out of sight but readily at hand.

Second, separate the key from the key fob
so the center console can be locked
and the fob handed off to mechanics or valets.

Here is a link to a handy size Comparator I made
if the Kel-tec PF9 is not to your taste.
Some of the suggestions are clearly wrong
but it is fun to see what is available.

If you are new to this thread, a few pages have been removed. A few left leaning trolls (who may be afraid of people with scary guns) kept instigating trouble, causing arguments.

60 with ammo running over a ration can to prevent jamming. The ration can was likely Lima beans and Ham

Had to notch out a small piece of plastic for the sights to clear. Takes about a half second to push down on the frame and chamber a round before drawing the weapon from the mount ready for action. The only hindrance is remembering its there when exiting the vehicle as my right leg bumps the gun on exit if I’m not paying attention . I’m 6’2” so may not be a problem for shorter legs. Great mount and gun specific. Perfect for CCW size guns IMO.

Edit: For those that asked the brand is: At-The-Ready A browser search will land you on their website.
A interesting option for someone, not my thing I believe. But thank for posting it. For many years my "work vehicle's" had a locking rack next to the seat or in trunk with an AR or shotgun in it mag loaded none in chamber. Handgun on hip ready to go. :like:
In other "employment" it was in hands or slung / holstered, in the SUV when I had MP-5 the vehicle didn't have any rack so placed on floor next to seat. Some interesting times then, and different job.
