  1. Positive Spin

I can totally relate to that myself. 80 CJ7 Leredo, hard and soft tops, 304 with headers. Every option except AC. Circa 1984
  2. Alternator pulley leaking..

It's been several years, but thinking back, I never seen grease slung like that from my failed decoupler pulleys. It was either black dust or red rust dust.
  3. Alternator pulley leaking..

Oh great. the litens decoupling alternator pulley. Not easy. But with special tools, you can remove and replace the pulley after prying off the plastic cover to access the hex socket. I replaced two on the alternator of my 2005 Jeep Liberty CRD during the course of 180,000 miles. This explains...
  4. First Accident. Need recommendation for replacement parts

Had similar damage after hitting a deer. Love my ARB full bumper, had one on my 2016JKU as well.
  5. Another paint bubbling post

Update, The tailgate on my truck was refinished back in December under warranty through my dealer's body shop. Claim approval was fast and they did a great job. Color match of the Gator paint color isn't perfect but you really can't tell except under certain angles and light conditions. They...
  6. Steering! is it a deal breaker?

2020 Overland with stock suspension, wheels and tires here. Aluminum box. 25,000 miles. Compared to the stock 2016 JKU that I traded in for the Gladiator, the Gladiator steering took some getting used to. My reflexes have adapted to it, and it doesn't bother me anymore.

That's great to hear! Thanks for replying.
  8. Punkin available for a limited time...

After reading this Paint/plastic fade - under warranty? | Jeep Gladiator Forum - JeepGladiatorForum.com I saw a Wrangler with fading orange paint at the dealership the other day, while having my paint bubbling issue looked at. Don't know the year it was though.
  9. Punkin available for a limited time...

I love that color! But I'm starting to wonder how colorfast that paint color is. I read that a few were reporting about fading hoods.
  10. Another paint bubbling post

Thanks for the replies. Dealer has scheduled to fix it at their body shop third week of December. I don't have another vehicle to drive, so I'm hoping that I can just leave off the tailgate to be worked on.
  11. Another paint bubbling post

Found this while waxing my 2020 Gladiator up for winter. :( I Also looks like corrosion is on the tailgate skin where it is folded over on the inside.
  12. Which Tail Light Bulb to Replace

    Correct, normal incandescent bulb.
  13. Which Tail Light Bulb to Replace

I just went through this with my 2020 Overland. Bulbs 3157 and the 7440 did not fit! I could not make out the numbers stamped on the original bulb. After much aggravation, I found that a 7443 fits the tail lamp socket.
  14. Roof leak in back

Same with our favorite local dealership. Dealer ordered new back window, and a reputable glass shop (who does all of their glass work) came and installed it. I intentionally left my Gladiator out in a pouring down rain yesterday to check for water inside. Water tight. Pretty happy with the outcome.
  15. Someone should burn this thing!

Wouldn't pass state vehicle inspection in this state with those fenders, or lack of.
  16. Roof leak in back

My dealer told me that they have had this same issue of rear window frame cracking/leaking on some of the Dodge Ram trucks that they have sold. He didn't say if it was limited to model year.
  17. Roof leak in back

Took my 2020 Overland JT into the dealer today for them to fix the rear window leak. Their plan was to remove the window and reinstall with fresh sealant. Upon removal, they found a crack in the frame of the rear window at top center. So, I'm driving a "loaner" Jeep Cherokee until they can...
  18. Brake pedal almost immovable before startup

OP, did you have any more problems? I almost always use the key fob to start my Gladiator. With that said, yesterday while attempting to start the vehicle from the driver's seat. I couldn't push the pedal down (rock hard) to satisfy the start sequence. After several attempts it eventually...
  19. Your first Jeep photos?

Got to find a photo of my first, it was a new 1979 Full size Cherokee S Here was my second jeep, an 80 CJ7 Laredo
  20. Well..I figured sooner or later it was bound to happen.

seven30, Glad you are OK. That is the same spot, and about the same amount of damage my bumper sustained. Took out the turn signal light on the right fender also. It was a $1000 damage estimate. State Farm wrote me a check, and I installed a new OEM light myself, and used the rest of money...
