  1. What level of risk is damage to the doors?

I no longer worry about damage to my driver's door (see profile pic). The door still works well enough, though i have it off quite a bit. When it's off, i just set it on styrofoam, against the wall in a closet.
  2. What’s the best trip you’ve taken in your Gladiator so far?

Anywhere here on the Central Coast, or best Jamborees: Rubicon, Tillamook, Palo Duro, Big Bear.
  3. GOA to Host First Ever GEAR Event (Guns & Overlanding)

GOA is hosting an interesting event that includes training in both guns and overlanding. The locale is in the Palo Duro area near Amarillo. My wife and i did a Jeep Jamboree in this area and had a great time. (Our neighbors were puzzled where all the red dirt came from.) Won't be able to make...
  4. Manual Transmission Gladiator to be revived

Happy with mine, with 5.13 regear and 37's.
  5. ❓ Tire inflation question

I run about the same with my 37 x 12.5 K02's, maybe a little more...between 32 and 33. For some reason the Jeep dealer i go to keeps overinflating even though they know these are aftermarket. They've inflated as high as 38 and recently about 35 (cold). I like the idea of the chalk test several...
  6. What's your first Jeep memories

Playing war on my dad's 47 Willys.
  7. Start stop is officially dead

I'm sure those who've extolled the benefits of this technology will have the integrity and foresight to pay out of their own pockets to install it on their future cars as a worthwhile mod, if only to increase resale value.
  8. Red dots are to pistols, what ducks are to Jeeps

I don't shoot pistol at tables but practice live and dry regularly for carry and years ago DG'd handgun at Front Sight. I am now 61 but with regular dry practice have no problem with iron sights and do not (yet anyway) need to resort to luminous dots. There are negs (ambient light; bulk...
  9. Our Jeep Gladiator Is Heading to Africa. Ask Me Anything.

You are the weapon. Your pistol is just a tool.
  10. Anyone running freedom panels only?

Never thought of doing this but my Mopar Sun Bonnet flaps noisily on the freeway so if i take the top off this might be good to try on occasion. Also great if you need a long bed pickup (top off) on a long trip.
  11. New Jeep Commercial!

Thanks for posting. Going to make this video a centerpiece for trust marketing: transmitting LIFE, fortune, honor.
  12. rubed a curb

This is a message from God that you need 37's, lift, regear.
  13. Are the twilight sensor for the headlamps way too sensitive???

Unfortunately this has always been an issue on my 2020. Learned to live with it.
  14. 3.6 Engine - Now I understand the power issue

I felt the same way until i regeared.
  15. Which start stop eliminator is best?

Best way is to install a manual transmission. Plus it's more fun if you like driving, especially after regear.
  16. How long did you keep your stock wheels?

    Too long, about 5 years.
  17. MT Parking Brake CONSTANT ISSUES

I've had similar issues with the parking brake being loose, even after adjustment by dealer. I always have to rely on keeping it in gear and it should not be that way.
  18. Bored with my JTR

No boredom with mine after regearing to 5.13
  19. Mopar Adds Over 1,000 New Affiliated Accessories & Parts

I simply tried to order touch up paint from the mopar site and it told me they could not ship to my location. Bizarre. Plus i could not log in on the store site even though i updated password on the main mopar site. So i tried ordering as a guest but as they could not ship for whatever reason i...
  20. Disable Start / Stop

A lot of things wear the throwout bearing, including normal driving. I've never had a problem and i have close to 60k on my Gladys. Then again, my stops tend not to be very long.
