I also have a 2020 stick. I wonder if this info is general to the entire "carline". Maybe the sticks have higher US content without the Japanese auto transmission.

Never had this problem on any manual i've owned. Is this a real problem unique to jeeps??

If it's not a manual, it's not a jeep. Plus you have to take extra steps to defeat ESS rather than simply keeping the clutch pedal to the metal when idling.

"Air Gladys" Took a mogul a little too fast on the dunes at the jamboree in Tillamook last year. Completely airborne. Had to replace engine mounts but otherwise in good shape.

Easy question to answer: I thought my JT was underpowered. Until i regeared to 5.13

I believe my transmission fluid (manual) was supposed to be changed around 30K but my dealer forgot to do it and i was relying on them. We just noticed and changed it at 50K. Was worrying about this but it sounds like most everyone is getting by OK changing at longer intervals.

Fair points. But keep in mind, wife not driving may be a plus to some. Also, i remember something about the drop in tow capacity being based on some overly conservative concerns about the manual transmission.

Have to say i'm extremely happy with my 3.6 since regearing to 5.13 I'd like to see more gearing options after EPA does away with nonsense regs.
