  1. Confirm what I have/don’t have

You learn something every day, thanks for the correction on the LSD.
  2. Confirm what I have/don’t have

Just my opinion. Like you said, snowy climate, DD and not through snow covered trails/dirt roads. The best bang for your Jackson's (IMHO) is some premium studded snow tires.
  3. Oil Catch Can - is it needed?

Thanks for the reply, I have (wild ass guess) probably 5k+ on the Mishimoto with no problem, but I'll look at it on a regular schedule now to see if anything starts to develop. Thanks for keeping us posted.
  4. Confirm what I have/don’t have

Jack up your rear end, take off parking break, put it in neutral. Rotate a tire, if opposite tire rotates in opposite direction it's a open diff, if opposite tire rotation is same direction it's LSD. Everything Gladiator has BDL as far as I know. Yes, you're not giving anything away with a open...
  5. Oil Catch Can - is it needed?

I have given this some thought and I can't figure it out, I just can't understand how this can happen. I do believe it happened, I believe it happened twice like Jeeping John said, but something is wrong somewhere. The catch cans are under a vacuum, not under a positive pressure. If your can...
  6. Paint Chips

That looks like a cool little tool! The ruling pen has 2 blades, you adjust the spacing of the blades with the knurled wheel. Dip the end in paint. You can dip a little or dip deep and load it up, the paint stayes between the blades. I wipe off the outside excess, then you can dabb little spots...
  7. Matts Ugly Truck

Matts Ugly Truck. Don't hate me because I'm beautiful.
  8. Fumoto Oil Drain Valve Sale

I went with the Femco. These pics are not mine, they are from this website. The Femco looks less likely to drag a Walmart shopping bag posing at the Mall. I have a image to maintain.
  9. Mopar wheels from JL xtreme recon package. Not bronze

  10. Airlift bags with rear spacer blocks

I don't have air bags but I considered them at one time. During my research on bags I read people have put them in upsidedown on purpose, have to be careful routing the lines no doubt. Of course I went a different direction and have never done this myself. Good Luck.
  11. Getting Livernois tune

Thanks, that's what I wanted to hear.
  12. American made

Made in USA. I have a small bicycle collection. One of my bikes is a Schwinn American, they were made from about 1955-1965, made with all American parts. Mine is a 1962. So most Schwinn bikes even back decades ago did have some imported components somewhere on them, unless you bought the American.
  13. New here....Genesis OffRoad Dual Battery Install???

Full River FT750-25. This is what Genesis now offers for the kit.
  14. Exhaust delete and replacement straight piping

Mig welding stainless, I have a flux-core stainless wire that also uses the argon/CO2 mix, it's double shielded. What did you use to mig stainless? Do you have a spool gun? Did you use the double shielded or something else? I have a small stainless steel project and was wondering about other...
