Number one appeal factor is that it's a Jeep. What else do you need?
Compared to the other trucks, this is so much more fun. Other trucks are just trucks. This one lets you live the Jeep life. Customize it all you want. Take the top and doors off. Have a full community and aftermarket to...
Palace Cafe for the bananas Foster and Huck Finn's for their fried gator tail and boudin balls. Brother's Market for fried chicken.
I will have to say that I wasn't even interested in the Gladiator when it came out in 2019. I had a JKU and put up with the bumpy ride and lackluster 5 speed...
Tuning in terms of performance chips and free flowing exhaust are your best bets. CAI and all the other bro science wiz bang stuff do nothing but make you feel better about yourself while lightening your wallet.
The engineers for these cars don't leave hidden HP that can be unlocked like when...
I lease mine. It's meant to be a lighthearted lifestyle car and since I'm not an avid rock crawler, I don't mod it beyond minor things like nerf bars and a tonneau cover.
I like having new things so every 3 years I'll get a new jeep.
Not talking about the gas cap itself but rather the metal flap that you pop open to get to the gas cap. Every modern car pretty much has that metal flap locked by a power solenoid that works with the power door locks.
Buying out of state was an option when I had the time to fly out and drive back but I'm too lazy now. I think I did ok for the deal and nobody could even come close to competing with the numbers i got.
One dealer even asked me how come I didn't take the other dealer's deal already as they...
There seems to be a big to do on putting the car in park then putting the 4 wheel drive in neutral then it'll roll like it's in neutral even though the shift lever is in park.
Dude... that's wrong. I never leave my garage door opener in the car. It's always in my pocket or in my bag that I have on me. I tell the missus the same thing, take it with her in her purse. Never leave it in the car, especially when parked at a garage or valet away from home. Valets can look...
Another member of the bright white JT club here. Never thought I would like white Jeeps but after I looked it at, I liked it a lot more than I ever thought I could coming from a Firecracker Red JKU.
The next steps are a bunch of color accents and hood stickers but I don't think I will bother...
That would be cool for a local JT group just to hang out and do some gatherings maybe at the top of a mountain road turn out with the overlanding crew or even light cookout and stuff.
I got about 4.5% off MSRP plus another $2k in rebates for my new lease. It's not a bad deal and nobody else was able to beat it locally. I was quoted about the same price for a 2020 Ford Ranger SXT and of course I jumped on the 2021 Gladiator instead of that $32k base model no frills Ranger.
The Mopar all weather mats for the back don't have drain plugs that work with the rear drain holes, only the front mats have matching drain holes for the floor. The rears are just supposed to be for water holding I guess.
Mine came standard with the Mopar all weather mats and you have to pull the plugs from under the carpeting to get the plugs to put in the rubber mats or else it is just open for all the water to go right on the carpet.
You have to cut that little oval carpet piece out too and push the drain...
