This is the second product I have bought from Roam. I bought frame rails for my JL last year. I didn’t have any of the problems I have seen on here and on the JL forums they were recommended at the time. I think it is likely they are just a small, growing company stretched thin. Their products...
Lots done today. Front and rear bumpers, Synergy springs up front to remove the rake, JKS sway bar disconnects, Falcon shocks, Falcon adjustable steering stabilizer, and a Smittybilt winch. I just need to figure a relocation for the winch control box and all is good.
I am another that bought from Koons in Tysons and had nothing but a positive experience. It was my wife’s 2013 JK Sahara. There is lots of competition in Northern Virginia and they did a great job offering a very competitive deal.
the dealer fee is somewhat consistent for Northern VA. I generally see $499-799 up here. I calculated invoice just over $47k so it’s really like 1.5%, but even still a couple hundred more there for several thousand more savings is worth it.
Financing wasn’t great, but it had zero early...
So, I always start with USAA as a buying service. That sets the bar and gets multiple dealers emailing me. My last 4 purchases have gone very well like this. I bought a Grand Cherokee and a RAM 1500 from Lindsay in Manassas where their Loveit price beat USAA/Truecare but a decent amount. Then I...
If you are having it professionally sprayed, they usually take care of this. I had my Gladiator done at Line-X and they took out or taped up all the stuff in the back (trail rails, power, light, etc). I have had trucks down at Leonards and same thing. You should ask who is doing it. When I did...
This is a true statement and another very micro to regional cost. I have lived in Northern Virginia almost 17 years, NJ prior to that for a few years, and the document fees out here have always been higher than when I lived in Texas an Arizona. Sometimes you might be able to negotiate, but most...
I don’t think you would see these kinds of discounts if you custom order. That isn’t inventory they have to move. They know they have a confirmed buyer. I think your best deals is going to come from what is on the lot, you just have to weigh what is most important to you. I knew what I wanted...
I think this is going to be a very micro, not even necessarily regional, answer. It’s all going to be about supply and demand. I look around the Northern Virginia area and lots are flooded with Gladiators. Even outside of the DC area in places like Culpepper, which is about 70 miles from DC, the...
Line-X is good to protect the bed from scratches, rust, etc. Bedrug is good for protecting cargo strapped into the back from scratches, etc. as well as yourself crawling around back there.
No, it isn’t like that at all. I had this stuff throughout my entire cabin in my JKU. It’s great stuff. The bedliner protects the bed very well and prevents rust, but this protects the cargo as well. You can put furniture and other stuff in and not worry about the liner scratching it. You can...
Had the bed Line-Xed this week, have a Bedrug mat in the bed awaiting warmer weather to affix the Velcro, and just finished installing a Bestop tonneau cover.
Installed the Bestop rolling tonneau cover today. For the price, it isn’t bad at all and fits pretty well. Easy install with only two clamps on each side.
Installed my Bestop rolling tonneau cover. It’s not bad for the price ($300) and fits pretty good. I also have a Bedrug mat in the bed, but I am awaiting some warmer temps before I try to stick the Velcro down.
