Jasonzj980 has a set of Sting gray fenders I was going back and forth on here with him about.....I decided to go in a different direction, so I'm looking for Rubi black plastic ones
He should be easy enuff to track down. I think they were Overland......
Looking to buy Rubicon fenders....the black plastic ones....fronts and rears, or just fronts if you have. OR painted ones, (Bonus points if they're Sting Gray....no extra money, just bonus points LOL) but, would prefer Black plastic.....I'll cover shipping
PM me please !
Thanks Mr. Bill,
I already have the receiver installed on my Sport S Max-tow with the stock front bumper (pre Rubi takeoff springs and Daystar 3/4" spacer)......had to "notch" the underside of the front bumper about 2"......
ya know.......I've never even looked at it since I did the...
Anybody's JT wearing an aftermarket front bumper AND a CURT front hitch ?
Want to upgrade the bumper, but need the front hitch for a cooler/rod rack, and don't like the idea of hacking up a new bumper to make it all fit and look good. Front bumper doesn't need to be winch-ready
I have a Max-tow Sport S and went with Rubicon takeoff (front springs) and a 3/4" daystar spacer lift, and obviously the Fox shocks at all four corners. I kept the Max-tow rear springs as I've read on here they are superior to even the Rubicon's rear springs (progressive rate on Max-tow). I'll...
Not sure about the rear fenders, but the front fenders are way different from a Rubicon to a Sport S with Max-tow. I would think they may be the same "width" due to the wider axles, but its obvious that Rubicon fronts sit way higher than all the others
Welcome aboard ! If you install a Rubicon "take-off" suspension picked up here from the "member marketplace" (usually around $300-400) you should be able to go with 35"s.....I have a Max-Tow, so the axles are a bit wider....If you aren't runnin' a Max, you may need spacers
I'll be the other guy on the beaches in DE with the Gladiator (Sting Gray).....maybe you can give me some "fishing" tips. So far we've only gone out at the Cape.....but would love to try Keybox
See you there !
I know SOMEBODY out there must've switched their Rubicon flares up to another more aggressive looking fender.....C'mon guys.....give 'em up !!
I frequently run between NJ and DC, but willing to travel for a nice set, or pay for shipping !
Is there any difference between the rear fenders from a Rubicon as opposed to a Sport S with Max-Tow ?
The front fenders are obviously different.....but the rears look pretty much the same to me, no ?
I'd be happier if Jeep got the same HP ratings out of their 6 cylinder that the rest of Dodge's products get !
And you are right....they didn't leave anything on the table ! My son had a 2013 C
Hemi Challenger.... we pulled a baseline on a Dyno before he did a K&N CAI.....he picked up a...
Sadly, you won't be getting a "deep tone" with a 6 cylinder ….it's just not the nature of the beast. There are however, options that will make it sound better !

Obviously this is an older post….but I just picked up a set of 35 12.50/17 EXP's for my JT Max-Tow......just finished putting in Rubicon takeoff springs and a 3/4" spacer up front, and the FOX shocks at all four corners shocks....I like the stance much better now.
As far as the EXP's are...
What size wheel is that 17" or 18" ? Those are by far and away my fav wheel, but i've been holding off because the 17" and the 18" wheel look completely different.....IF those are 17's I'm ALL IN !
I'm guessing that "simulated beadlock" ring is removable ?
You would think manufacturers would...
How about a windshield that's a bit more "sloped".....there isn't a bug out there that doesn't SPLAT when it hits the windshield.....no chance of a glancing blow.....tired of turning on the washer/wipers every 15 minutes in the summer
