I got the new tire/wheel pkg. mounted up... I’m very happy with it! Thanks to Matt and Don with @Discount Tire for the great service and pricing. And a big shoutout to Justin at @Quadratec for hooking me up with the Tazer Lite for the speedo reset. I went with Black Rhino Rumble wheels, 17x8.5...

Ok, got it done - some feedback for those just getting into the Tazer install. It is indeed the pain in the a** that others have described in getting the connectors removed from the security terminal block. It's not hard, just tough to get to with big paws. Whoever I read here that suggested a...
As I read some of the info over on the JL site about this, it looks like it’s a safe bet to unmarry, even when the unit has been connected. I was just thinking it’s only tire size I’m changing... but if they get the idea to push an update it could screw things up. Maybe I’ll be one of the lucky...
I’m putting my new tire/wheel pkg. on in the morning, and will be setting new tire size with a Tazer Lite. If I’m just using it to set the speedo/tire size and removing it, do I need to worry about “unmarrying” to get an oil change done?(normally do my own, but am taking advantage of the Jeep...
Gotcha - mine are through Discount Tire... been a pleasure to deal with thus far! We'll see who gets them first - they have the tires, but ordered the wheels from Black Rhino. They indicated 7-10 days so I'll hope for that.
I’ll be watching... just ordered the same wheels/offset this afternoon. But with 35’s. Loved the clean look, but really loved that they’re only 22 lbs.??
Love my gray leather seats! They’re so much cooler on hot days than my old black seats in my JKR. They really set off the interior I think... and they clean up better than I expected.
I’m just a bit over 600 miles in, but I have to say so far - my steering feel and tracking are really good. May be due to moving into this from a 2015 JKR, so this thing feels amazing. I’m keeping my ”feel” on it to see if it loosens up with more miles. I assume the TSB will remain in effect...
Thanks for that info! That is my quandary with the Overland wheel... the +30 offset would work, but the 8” wide concerns me with crowning the tire.. as I’ll be mounting 35/12.50/17 Ridge Grapplers. I like the 9.5” width better, but I don’t want that much tire sticking out with the -18s. My...
There’s another thread on Mojave wheel offsets... if memory serves, I think our stock Mojave wheels are +37, due to the need to push the wheels out a bit for the stability factor and the Fox hardware. I’ve been shopping wheels also, and like just a touch of tire showing outside the fender flare...
Yeah, in the pics the seats look almost white - they’re actually a light grey. After an all black JKR in hot SW Florida, the white works for me. You gotta point with the orange accents, though
So, just getting around to snapping a couple of pics... picked my Mojave up last week. After driving a 2015 JKR for 4 years - this beauty is a Cadillac. Less than 300 miles on it so far, so still breaking in but wow what a truck! I can't believe the difference in the suspension on this thing...
