Vroom was slightly higher than Carvana when I sold, but after reading reviews I went with Carvana as their process is very easy. Plus, they handed me a check before really looking at my Jeep. They didn't even bother to start it. I moved it to the street since the Carvana gal couldn't drive a...
I won't be trying that. On the JL, if you forget to latch the soft top down, it will fly open at approximately 45 mph. Ask me how I know? Scared the crap out of me both times.
I took the soft top completely off of my JT yesterday and it was much easier than the JL. Took me 8 mins the first time...
Live in Raleigh near Brier Creek area. Picked up my JTM 3 weeks ago. I've wheeled a few times with ThirtyOne (know him well) and company in my JLU that I just sold. Will probably just do easy trails now. Going to be more focused on camping and fly fishing.
Wife says I need to stay stock so...
I would first get quotes from Carvana, Vroom and maybe Carmax. They are paying over KBB. I got $5k or so more than KBB or a trade in. Even with the tax savings on a trade in, Carvana was much better. Sold 2018 JLU for same price I paid for it (before tax, tags, fees).
Then compare quotes with...
Wow! That's got to be a record. It can sometimes take 2 weeks after it's shipped. I might be ordering a JL for my daughter here shortly. Hope it's that fast.
Will never lift my Mojave since stock is already so nice. That's one reason I went with the Mojave as I told my wife I wouldn't do any big mods if she'd let me get it. When it's time for new tires, I'll probably get 35s since I have the high fenders.
It's more solid than my JL Granite Crystal that I sold and has some flakes that look like a nice Paulson leaded poker chip. So it's got that going for it, which is nice.
Had this issue with my JL. They replaced the ESS battery and it didn't fix it. I got stuck at a major intersection when I failed to turn off ESS and it wouldn't start. Ugh. Got some dingers yelled at me. "You dick!" and "That's what you get for buying a Jeep!"
It turned out to be a bad relay...
