Fwiw, apparently there is a harness pass-through on the passenger side behind the glove box. However, from the horror stories I’ve read on this forum of folks trying to run additional wires through there, I would stay far away from that temptation. Slight nick in a wire and a whole legion of...
Same sentiments I have about trading in my 2016 Tacoma on a Mojave. But, we’re plunking down a sizable chunk on a topper camper (Snap Treehouse) and thought it prudent not to do that on a truck that was starting to show signs of it’s 250,000 miles. Also a factor is the potential of camping off...
FWIW; I wore out a set of Duratracs on the Tacoma I had. They were installed in Oct/ Nov timeframe. First winter, I thought they were the grippiest tires in the snow I ever had. Following year and 25-30k miles later, not so much. I thought they got pretty loud, too. I rotate my tires every...
Great video! Thank you for that. Directly related, I had an issue on the JK a few months back where the gage cluster would start going haywire, even thought there was no noticeable issues while driving. After some interwebz research, I cleaned and inspected the battery terminals. The neg side...

But that’s a pretty salty price point for a little convenience
I saw this vendor at an event this past weekend. Seemed like a decent product. He had a Diamondback cover on the truck and the rack provided the ability to open the cover.

Presuming it's essentially still the same electronic disconnect that was used on the JK's, they are prone to failure from water ingress. It's about $2K to replace the unit. Most folks (myself included) opt for a manual disconnect replacement.
So, to revive an aging post, lol
Any updates or changes in opinion or performance of this system?
One of the attractions of this system to me would be the ability to do minor vehicle leveling on uneven camping spots, as well as auto-leveling with the weight of a topper-camper and associated...
Here's a link to the forest service interactive map. Zoom in and click on a feature of interest and a window will pop up with more info. Good for see ing what fs roads are seasonally open.
