Thanks. Yes, I painted it myself. I’ve had previous experience with painting 2 stage paint on plastic. Not really concerned with rain on the low intake. There is a petcock valve that you will install in the bottom of the factory air box so you can drain if water does get in.

21000 miles and about a year old and at least once a week I mentioned to my wife how much I like this truck. I’ve owned a 89 Jeep YJ wrangler, a 04 Jeep TJ Wrangler and currently own another 89 Jeep YJ Islander. This truck is the best Jeep I’ve owed and understanding that it’s still a Jeep is key.

Yes, you can see in the first pick on the far left the rear window is tinted. Roanoke is about 45 mins away from me. In Dallas terms, not to far away.
