Everyone has different ideas on builds and add-on's.
Two good things about it....... Now you can slam whatever crosses in front of you with no worry and you have a lot a places to install lights.
Base mount on the bed passenger side rear window corner
I have my CB installed and hooked up. I was chasing the reason I could not get below 3 SWR. Tried a firestik and a short whip Tram...... Even took jumper cables and grounded the base.
I put my old school 8 or 10 foot whip on there and SWR...
Just installed a President Bill CB on the driver side of the center console. I purchased the 12v power adapter to power the unit.

For the past 2 weeks I have had a annoying rattle ........... like the door wasn't closed good.
Replaced the inserts at at the door hinges and it did nothing. Yesterday I had time to look at this deeper and found that the vertical insert that separates the main window from the smaller window...
I am a huge fan of more is better when it comes to lighting
so I would choose A
however ...... not sure if production cost is relevant, but you could make both.

- grab Handles
- heavy duty Carabiners
- double rope clamps (slide stop)
- just inside the slide stop install 2 more double rope clamps ..... Use one side of the double rope clamp on one side of the zip line .... The other clamp another section of rope to each end...
