Followed another members idea .... Located the winch control box in the engine bay using a passenger side bracket. Got everything lined up like I needed it. Welded a steel plate to the bracket then (using original control box bolts) attached the box to the bracket.

Has anyone given thought to a mount for the area within the yellow area where the 2 bolts are located?
I am seriously thinking about bending some sheet metal in a (C-Channel) configuration ..... then tucking the bottom part...

The rattle came back (slightly) ..... so I added a thin piece of black poly at the top of the vertical glass separator. You will need to peel back the rubber weather striping to reveal the area. Kind of straight forward once you peel the weather striping back.

I installed a Zeak 13,000 winch using the Rugged Ridge Winch Plate. Everything installed smoothly.
My question is ..... Should the winch rope come straight out through the fairlead or does is sit a touch lower than the bottom of the...
I think I am going to build mine out of aluminum square tubing to keep the weight down.
All I have is a MIG welder right now, but trying to decide to get a TIG or a spool gun for the MIG....
