Followed a members idea and mounted the control box on top of the motor. Clears the Rubicon hood

Followed another members idea .... Located the winch control box in the engine bay using a passenger side bracket. Got everything lined up like I needed it. Welded a steel plate to the bracket then (using original control box bolts) attached the box to the bracket. Clears the Rubicon hood

Why haven't I seen this one ..... Really like this mount

I have looked at many different types and styles of antenna mounts Has anyone given thought to a mount for the area within the yellow area where the 2 bolts are located? I am seriously thinking about bending some sheet metal in a (C-Channel) configuration ..... then tucking the bottom part...

I think I am going to build mine out of aluminum square tubing to keep the weight down. All I have is a MIG welder right now, but trying to decide to get a TIG or a spool gun for the MIG....
