Awesome trip this past weekend for our anniversary in Vermont. We came here last year but only did a very short run, limited time. Some of this is just fire roads, some is signed as Class V roads. Some of it is really just for snowmobiles and quads.
Saturday we messed up and ended up on WR-27...
I would recommend one of these, 12K dump, that fits my tractor with bucket and mower.
Now I may only be able to tow the trailer empty with my manual JTR because it is near the max tow capacity, but it looks cool.
Wife has a Tundra.
Im curious too. Wireless CarPlay would be good but there are enough aftermarket units out there. Plus I normally plug in to keep my phone charged, not a deal breaker to me.
So I wanted to offer some help/education on audio upgrades. I used to do Car Audio professionally years ago and still do some home and professional audio today, though mostly video and access ciontrol.
If you are looking for an easy to adapt amp with tons of power, look at the Audio Control...
If you meant he Jeep control boxes, maybe, but they weren't in the way of the original JL sub I was going to use. Fiberglass strength is from curves. Having those bump outs just adds more strength to the enclosure.
Thanks. YouTube is the hero here along with the right resin. US Composites 435 Standard Poly Lay resin. Good long work time and very little shrinkage if any.
I just completed this in my JTR, no sound deadning either. I get why but to me with the M/T tires what am I gaining? Doors off, roof off . .etc. Also, really have zero rattles either pre or post on the build and install. I used an Audio Control LC5.1300, single DVC 10, sealed enclosure and...
I did cut off the bottom of the rear center panel. "If" I was ever going to sell it I will just buy another one. So for breakage, the two top center connectors did snap off the back, nothing seen from the from. I used Gorilla Glue Original. It is a polyurethane glue, it will break the plastic...
I want to say 6" to be safe, depends on the size, width of the magnet. The JL magnet would push it out more. Texan had a Focal sub, standard non-shallow mount and made it work more towards the center. Where I put mine there is more depth.
I also wanted to make sure there was enough room for...
I figured I would post my install for others to pass along some things learned and ideas. There is not much out there for a sub behind the rear seat, this was important to me since I need the under seat storage. Yes there is a bed but I'm just not a fan of bed covers. I use my bed too much.
My...
Hold on, let me step down a bit from my Toyota owner pedestal . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Wow! Seriously don't care, it is my wives truck not mine.
BTW fleet purchases for Ford are because it is a market Ford fully invested in and the do well with. I.E. Police vehicles, rental, State...
Jebus man, loosing up the panties. Wound a little tight.
Have a friend with a F150 V6 turbo, when towing similar size campers we get better fuel mileage in the V8. Yes it is old and been around forever but it’s been proven and reliable. Something in my head is saying that Ford has had some...
