  1. Going to 37s eventually, What steering upgrades are mandatory?

I've been really happy with Steer Smarts, ( track bar, sector shaft brace, drag link with attenuator, tie rod). Falcon adjustable stabilizer. Clayton rear track bar, ( the bend ). I sleep better knowing the steering is way beefier than stock. Improved road manners for daily driving too.
  2. Any 2020 Gladiator Owners Still Here?

22k and still glad I drove off the lot with a big smile Nov 2019
  3. Show us what camper / trailer / RV you're towing with your JT

Conqueror UEV 490 sleeps 4, about 4600 lbs. max. with gear and 40 gal. of water. JTR on 37's, just regeared to 5:13 which made for a much better towing experience, ( spent a lot of time in 3rd and 4th gear, never got above 6th gear with 4:10 gears ). I haven't been able to enjoy remote...
  4. Your thoughts on towing this

RJinPV and WILDHOBO are spot on. A GVWR of 4000 lbs. would be a good place to start. When narrowing down my trailer search, this forum, and other resources helped. My JTR tows 7000 lbs. so I limited my search to a GVWR of 5000 lbs. My trailer GVWR is 4960 lbs. (dry weight 3042 lbs.) with family...
  5. Opinion on name of your jeep decal on hood?

    What do you mean probably?
  6. Finally got myself in the Gladiator Club

Nice choice. Welcome to the truck that's fun-to-drivability, is only exceeded by its capability, and always appreciated utility. The kids love it and the wife approves of the safety, (I told her the safety features are dramatically enhanced by the 3" lift, 37's, and offroad lights.) She totally...
  7. Rocking side to side when on interstate

The stock shocks are a little soft for me. I like my Falcon SP2 3.3 adjustables, won't leave home without them. Adjustable shocks at a firm setting would probably be a $2000 + fix. A less expensive alternative might be air bags, might be worth a try. When payload is high my airbags stiffen up...
  8. Rear end sagging

Air Bag Man makes a great solution for the sag, I use them on a 3" lift. They might be able to work for 4". The heavy duty version wraps the bags in a cover. When the truck is loaded and my trailer is hitched, about 20 psi levels it out. The bags max out around 60 psi. Unloaded I set them at 6...
  9. Highest mpg 3.6

    2020 JTR 37's, 4:10, 13.2 mpg. avg., 15 mpg. max, 10.4 mpg. towing the CONQ. (4300 lbs )
  10. Best Jeep Aftermarket Brands?

I really like everything Steer Smarts makes. Though I don't know if they make a rear adjustable track bar that will accommodate clearance for a 37" spare. I used Clayton, at the time they were the only ones that did. If Steer Smarts makes one now I would get it. Everything is well made...
  11. Made the jump from 2018 Tacoma TRD Sport

NICE, I'm sure you got a good deal on the trade in. I traded in my 2017 TACO for a JTR in 2019. My wife thought I was crazy, (crazy smart). She loves the JTR now. Best truck I ever had, though I did have to launder money through a few shell companies, and offshore bank accounts to conceal what...
  12. “THRAEX” - 2023 FREEDOM TRIM - Build so Far!

Very CLEAN build. The hard work paid off. How's the on road feel compared to stock?
  13. 2022 Rubicon - Pricing in March of 2023

I would go check it in person even though it's an hour away. Have a firm "walk away number", but ask for your dream number, and DON'T ever drive the truck. Not until you settle on the numbers. Then drive it to make sure it's not trashed. If they can't get to your number just leave, which they...
  14. Am I crazy for thinking I want a Gladiator?

There's quality to your post that leads me to believe you may have contracted the Gladiator - Mylitis, I'm pretty sure it's a real thing. If you like the wonky handling now you'll only like it more when it handles better after some suspension mods. If you liked driving with the panels off, your...
  15. ? Purple People Eater ?

Yup, that pretty much explains why I'll die alone. I feel better now.
  16. Which Gladiator is the better buy?

Rubi is as Rubi does. That's all I have to say about that.
  17. Mojave 2.5 Frankenlift

The Aussie‘s have air bags that work great for lifted JT,s. I ordered CR5170HP with the valve bracket from Airbag Man. I have a 3” Frankenlift with Eibach Springs on my JTR. Haven’t used the air bags with my 5000# trailer hitched up, but I was able to use them at 20psi hauling 500# payload,(they...
  18. When, and Why, I used to wave…

I like the wave, I usually throw out a hard core "Forest Gump" wave. Then people look at me confused and drive away fast. But seriously - with a lot of tension out there sometimes it's nice to exchange a friendly gesture to the peeps in your community. I think it encourages cooperation and...
