There is absolutely no substitute for torque on diesel gladiator.
I have followed all the gas gladiators owners who ended either forced induction or, gear ratios changes or engine swap because they went with bigger wheels. And those upgrades could cost more than $4000 upgrade for diesel...
Gladiator is not built to tow, its design to go off road...
I have fullsize trucks to do towing duties.
Even 4.10 is a joke from factory. 4.56 should be basic gear ratio for Jeep.
I dont think jeep wants spend extra money to make a vented hood for diesel gladiators. Cost vs profit!
A well design vented hood will vent heat and help with aerodynamic of the vehicle. Look at touring car racing, your answer is there!
First few years with some issues to iron out but definitely will surpass pentastar, better make sure your words are well marked.
There is no way NA v6 can be better than force induction I6.
Don't get too hang up with these 10% or 13% off. With current rebates you are better off buying in stock gladiators than spending a grand or two for travel costs
I concurred with all these manufacturers chasing cafe standard in expense of consumers wallets.
I always run thicker oil than factory recommended, no issues whatsoever.
I don't believe in Oil lighter than 5w30
Debut of new ranger and Colorado/ canyon is around corner.
Not surprised ranger buyers will wait it out.
Gladiator is overpriced as a midsize truck category. Most people didn't even know it's a convertible truck!
All my vehicles once got engine work done, i sold them right away. I did found wiring harness got crimped after the dealers complexes completed the repair. Never felt the same as factory specs.
Anybody who believes start stop does not cause wear and tear in long run, should go back to school. Nothing last forever if u keep at it.
Start stop is one of the epa agenda to gets better fuel economy at the expense of consumers' pockets.
How many threads here about 3.6 engine issues...
Please don't go joe cooper at
shaween. They gave me a run around for two months.
At first, they said the stock inquired was available, then they sent me a different stock# and msrp and color saying its the same which was not.
Aftee going through another vehicle with drive out price all...
If u have gas v6 jeep, that engine likes to rev up high like old honda vtec to its reasonable torque level.
Honda element is slow unless u had a stick like mine which made it a little peppier.
Comparing 5000lbs jeep to a 3400lbs honda is like apples to orange!
