Went to Discount Tire and had the black lug nuts installed (they forgot to order the black ones with my wheels/tires). They look much better all black in my opinion. Chrome is nice and all, just not on an all black wheel.
That looks awesome! The leveling kit makes a HUGE difference.
I’m installing a leveling kit on mine this week after putting on 315/70r17’s. Did you notice any difference in ride or anything else with the leveling kit?
Excuse my ignorance, but I received the cable today and can’t locate where to plug it in. Can someone walk me through and/or show me some pictures of what I plug into the cable on from my JT. Thanks!
I’ve got an Overland on stock suspension right now while running 315/70r17’s (34.4 inches tall). No rubbing whatsoever on stock suspension. I’m installing a 2” leveling kit (spacer) this week just for looks as I don’t like the rake. I think you’d be fine with the spacer kit. Here is a picture of...
No rubbing at all. I am adding a 2” leveling kit to the front this week, but that is solely for appearance to remove the rake. As it sits now on stock suspension, zero issues. Honestly, with the 0 offset sitting as wide as it is already, I’d be weary going any wider. I feel like at 0 offset with...
Go with the 35’s. I just installed 315/70r17’s (34.4” tall). I would not go over 35’s on your Overland with the 3.73 gears if you ever plan to tow. And even with the 35’s, you’ll want to reprogram your speedo so the shift points aren’t off.
Here’s mine:
Whoops. I misread your question.
They are 17X9’s with a 0 offset. The lug nuts should have also been black, but the tire shop didn’t order the right size. So the black lug nuts will be installed next week when they arrive.
I just put these on my truck. Love them, smooth ride, quiet ride, great handling and would definitely recommend.
BFG K02’s in a 315/70r17 with C load range
next up is a 2” leveling kit in the front
