Had the grabbers for a long time on a huge WJ build. Great wear. A Little noise (who cares) but other wise quite grippy. It’s my understanding that the grabbers are the old version of the BFG. ME- get what’s cheaper.

I have them on my JTR with no other suspension modifications. At this point I didn’t want to change anything on the truck. All my other Jeeps were lifted and usually opened up a can of worms in terms of vibrations, noises, etc. I wanted my brand new truck to remain smooth and quiet for awhile. 315’s seemed to be just the ticket for performance and the look I was wanting. No real noticeable difference in acceleration or handling.

I appreciate the reply and feedback. I have been right there with you on going to big tires ...and then 6 months later being like man this thing drives rough.

Had 2 sets on my 12 Rubicon JKU, Started out with the 35x12.5's L/R E, after having to balance them every 2K, I contacted Discount tire and Michelin and opened a case for replacement, basically, the sidewalls were so stiff it would start hopping down the road, which made every tire wear differently,

Discount replaced them, tried to give me the same tires, baffling,

I went with the 315/70/, L/R C and never looked back, totally changed the jeep rode and drove, was like having a new vehicle,

This right now is why I'm having a problem buying replacement tire for the JT, do I go with a C or E, 315's or 35's or 37's not sure, I really have a hard time talking myself into a L/R E tire again, because the weight of a JT is nothing compared to a F250......
Thanks for that feedback on the experience with the L/R C!

The KO2's tow just fine, as well. Comfortable on long trips, which is SO odd to say about a Jeep! San Diego and Eureka/Arcata are over 750 miles apart, been both places already since June, San Diego twice.

Wheels are 17x9 with a 0 offset. In my opinion, it rides and tracks better with the new setup.
With a zero offset, do you have any rubbing? I like the size of tires you are running I am worried about rubbing. I most likely won’t be doing any heavy off-road/ climbing.

No rubbing at all. I am adding a 2” leveling kit to the front this week, but that is solely for appearance to remove the rake. As it sits now on stock suspension, zero issues. Honestly, with the 0 offset sitting as wide as it is already, I’d be weary going any wider. I feel like at 0 offset with a 12.5 in wide tire, I’m already going to have a mess on the side of my truck come rain season.

I had 285 E rated tires and just replaced them with 315 C rated (Ford Performance with the slightly higher speed rating.) Much smoother than the 285 E rated tires. Looks better too!
