I'm sure some people will hate the idea of two small holes in that location but it doesn't bother me. Plenty of knee clearance and I can look down and see it while driving. Also, I can easily use the emergency brake lever on it without reaching.
11 MPG for 105 mile round trip today. Lots of long hills. Trailer is about 3000 lbs loaded right now. Tows it fine. May add weight distribution hitch if I get north of 400lbs tongue weight. About 360lbs currently.
CAT Scale has an app for your smart phone. There's actually two of them. One helps you find a cat scale near you and the other is what you use when you're at the CAT scale.

I read that to mean you can't use that ball with a weight distribution setup. If you look up "weight distribution hitch", you should see what they are talking about.
